Unhappy Surging V8

My EL Fairmont V8's RPM in surging at idel and at highway speeds it is also geting hard do start the only mods are a set of extractors, I've Taken it to ford and it's got them beat all checks out OK.

Temp Sender unit is what caused your kinda problem on my EA

Does it come good after time?

Could be exhaust leak?

Could be dodgy sensor!

Did the surging start straight after the extractors were installed?
