Has anyone installed these in an EF at all? If so, were any type of spacers/modding needed, or did they fit in nicely? Upgrading the stock headunit and speakers, and have heard these are probably the best bang for buck splits out there. For $150, can't go wrong.

Having said that, here's a mob on eBay (I'm not associated in anyway with them) that have them for about $125 - $130 delivered, depending on where you are. eBay Jaycar 6.5" Splits Also, see if a mate has a Jaycar disount card as you can get them direct from Jaycar cheap too. Cheers, Brendan :Reverend:

Cheers. I think I will get those. Did you put the tweeter in the grill on the dash, or mount them separately?

I saw a thread around here recently about someone who made his own pods for some speakers which is actually pretty straight-forward and easy to do yourself, but can't remember and searching didn't help me.
By the way, the Jaycar splits are VERY good for the money. (but im not an audio snob) : |

I think i'll just stick to putting them in the original spots :nutsycuck To complex for me!
By the way, nice job on the speaker setup. Will the splits work fine off a clarion headunit? 4x25w constant i think it is. I'm no audiofile, i just want to replace the stock rubbish with something that sounds a little better, and can play mp3's. Last edited by BADan; 26-08-2006 at 10:35 AM. |

What are these guys like? I'm planning on getting the 4x100w amp and 6.5" splits, but would like feedback from somebody who has bought from them before. Cheers. |
