I wish we could. My mate who owns the house in mallacouta, strats his new job on like the 2nd January. So he has no choice, and this is a really good opportunity for him. Plus being a wog, all the family thing pop up in jan. It is the worst time of year.

Lepanic <-- Can you bop your head 140times a min?.. about as fast as the music
Home Bar <-- Popular place, very full of girls wearing not much and Funk music
The Gaelic Club <-- Heard of it, never been..
Boehm Lounge <-- Crazy trance section downstairs..
Candy's Appartment <--- Lucky your not bringing your girlfriend's LOL!!! enough said
Tank Nightclub <-- Very popular, gets very overcrowed.. but the views make up for it
Empire Hotel <-- Pretty decent place
Establishment Bar <-- lounge style, chill out type of place, again funk music..
I'd give Cargo a miss. Its ****y and has no atmosphere.
Establishment is great for scenery but expensive. Le Panic is awesome....funky house and great women.
YU is also great for chicks.
Home Bar is pretty ordinary.
Seriously, house music is pretty much played everywhere.

I've never been to the Greenwood. I so wanna go there.

Same here. The first gig they had in Sydney was brutal. It was almost like everyone was headbanging from the first note. I also managed to make it to their instore appearance at Utopia and get a few cd's signed plus find out what one of the missing lines from one of their songs was. Top stuff !

I'm also around the Krispy Kreme a bit. Not bad street scene, although a few years back (before the Middle Eastern Police Unit was out conducting "random defect checks") there used to be a lot more hot cars out, eg 9 second rotaries.

From KK Livo, go up the Hume Hwy, then down Parramatta Rd and go down George Street to the Rocks. Although if you have a obviously defectable car, do a u-turn when you hit Circular Quay.

Heaps of clubs around George and Pitt St

Verandah Bar is alright as well. Althought a bit more exclusive and more resitricted entry. Definatly if you don't have a chick no entry. Even then you may need to have 2 chicks.

For a clean night out just Club jump on King Street wharf, darling harbour Cargo, Wallaby etc. Also around the other side of the harbour isn't too bad. Kings Cross and Oxford Street if you want more of a sleasy night out.

The Gaff on Oxford St (the "Rogues" building) is a pretty music friendly place with some decent scenery. Its ok if you don't want anything too hard.
