Default Not related to cars, but a something that sucks...

So I get home today to find that the heater in my bedroom had faulted out. As I've just moved in, all of my earthly possessions were in my bedroom.

The fire did not spread to any other part of the house, just my bedroom.

All of my clothes, my bed, some music equipment & all bedroom furniture are destroyed.

At least my laptop was in the loungeroom at the time...

Sux. :

Dude, sorry to hear that. Can you sue someone about the heater? (assuming that the heater IS the source of the problem).

I'll be looking into it, but don't like my chances.

To me it has just highlighted that anything can happen to anyone. I'll be getting insurance for every aspect of my life now!

At the end of the day, ya gotta laugh about it, there's no point in crying about it. The main thing is that nobody was hurt, my animals are ok & my Fez wasn't injured...

Sorry to hear ya bad news Sway, it usually takes something like this to happen before we all realise just how important the "boring and mundane" things in life such as Insurance really are, hope ya get yourself back on ya feet quickly, all the best.

Bad bad luck mate, hope it all works out well in the end, as you said at least no-one was hurt, it could always be worse.
