Talking custom EB headlights

well as the title says i did some custom headlighting!!lol!

some of you people may have seen these headlights on ebay as thats where i got the idea from. i pretty much just used gloss black around the non-reflecting part of the lens. ie. the internal corner nearest the grille dosent get used so i blacked that bit out along with all the edges. i also used nite shade for a very light tint over the outside of the whole lot, including the blinker. i just need to polish it all to bring it up a bit more shinier (cant spell for those people who care!)

anyway have a look and tell us your thoughts.

looks like mine and edxr6t's headlights

except you tinted them..

you've done a good job but i would have left the tint off

how did you go about masking it up to paint it? i ended up damaging the chrome film becuase it had lost its stick to the headlight and came off with my tape even though i was extremely gentle

Not bad Braden. Would it be possible to take a photo tonight in the dark with the lights on?

Keep up with all these mods!

yeh i started taping up one of the headlights and i peeled it off to adjust it and it peeled off the chrome and left the yellow backing.i didnt bother taping up anymore so i just used newspaper as a shield, theres a few spots of paint on the chrome but not noticable.
im thinking of removing the light tint tho, not really happy with it. i really just tinted it to blend in the blinker.
another thing iv been meaning to ask...why do my clear blinkers have a light grey backing whereas iv seen others where they have chrome backing??where do i get chrome backed ones from?? also which one is ford genuine are which one is aftermarket?

cheers

ps. it was only a quick mod iv been meaning to do for a while, wasnt really trying to do something special!

pps. you dont want to know my future mod list! too damn long and you'll be here all night reading it!!lol!

they look great man. I did the same thing to my Wifes Skyline head lamps, when i get a couple of hours to spend on the ford I plan to do it to that too. I reckon the tint would look great on a black car.
