Default which speakers?

buying new speakers next week for front and rear, are Alpine S Type any good? i spoke to the sales man about them and the ones i was looking at are 6" 1/2 Splits with tweeters for front and 6" Rear, so my 2 questions are?

1. anyone used / heard S-type are they any good?
2. will 6 1/2" fit in EF GLI doors?

only hear great things... diameter shouldnt be a problem, but depth might require a spacer...

I've got Clarion 180W 3 way 6" rear speakers, and they are really good. My front speakers are still stock, but I'm going to replace them in the next few weeks. I'll probably go for Clarion with them as well.

But Alpine should be good too. They are a quality brand
