Default My EL Ghia

I bought this ghia off ebay about 2 months ago and have slowly been fixing it up.
It had hit a gutter and bent the watts linkage, broke diff backing plate, bent wheels, rear axle, right hand front suspension arms.
It also had a pretty deep gouge in the LH 1/4, a dent in bonnet and a was pretty ordinary else where.
The interior was shabby so i got hold of a set of really good seats and put them in, and generally went over the car and tidied it up.

I have had it repaired and resprayed to make it look respectable, just a cheap car yard job done by a mate.

I am rapt how it has came up and look forward to getting it regoed next week.

It will owe me about $5400, which was more than i wanted to spend, but i still think it is resonably cheap at that.

Looking good Cam! Good to finally see some pics of it.

That looks like my old I6, is the colour mocha foam ? Just to make sure it ISN'T my old one, what's the odometer reading ? Mine was 173,000km when i traded it on the BA early last year.

Hi Fantz, it was a NSW reg'd car, 2nd owner.
It has done 250,000 which was a little bit more than i would of liked, but it has been serviced every 10k, and had recently had $2500 spent on brakes, trans and other things.

It drives great, no smoke or blow by, i cant believe how good it drives for the amount of k's its done !!

Might put a set of EL GT's on it, lower it and tint the windows, and just leave it as a cruiser.
