Im just wondering out of all of you whos car started Life an Auto, or Manual and what it is now

Both My E-Series Started Auto
EB still running Auto
NA Fairlane Manualised

The EL started out as an auto but it cracked the sads and died at 250,000k. I got a manual conversion for it for about the same price as an auto rebuild was going to cost.

if you want to get power out of it and a quick 1/4 mile time don't do what i did. go
manual! i am even after spending $2000 modding/rebuilding my auto.

my el auto died, i knew the fluid wouldnt have been clean and didn't want to spend the money or effort on servicing it, drove ok for abit used to chirp and all lol

that died, was leaking from input shaft- i thought it was rear main lol

manual=great. loving fuel usage to

auto all the way, and will most likely leave it an auto but with some things done to it. Plus im lazy, if i want to have a manual il just change the auto gears from 1, 2, 3 then drive lol.

Auto all the way! Stock auto is ~345,000kms old, and currently has a shift kit & a hi-stall. Will fit a large trans cooler soon to replace the stocker. Just gotta figure out where exactly to fit it, since it's 420x175x20mm :

Started Auto, then put in another auto, then put in a manual. Depending on how i like it it could either stay manual or even go back to auto. Only time will tell ;)
