Default PS2:Nurburgring?

What is your quickest time around this track and in what car?
My son did a 6:29, which I thought was great for a 13 year old.

I'm not sure.
But I hate the Merc challenge where you have to get the SLR around there nice and quick (without the usual 'short cuts').

A shame you can't do it in a Transit Diesel Van!

Would be good if they included the GP Track, then they would have a 4 version of the track (Northern loop, Southern loop, Both, Northern loop plus short Southern loop) for not that much more work

That is a bloody impressive time and particularly in a car like that with no nos

I have got below 6 minutes but only with some seriously high powered equipment, major setup changes to make it more forgiving over ripple strips and steering under brakes....but I'm still leaving plenty of paint on the armco's

I'm doing laps of the ring on arcade mode with various cars in near standard form against higher powered machines just for the challenge. The Peugeot 206 Turbo 16 FWD has got to be the best drifting machine I've found yet....(yes I know it is FWD and it not true drifting...)

Ringo - You should try the 106, it loses the pace on the straights, but through the corners it's ace!

I do quite enjoy 'the ring', and would consider it to be my favourite track.
