Hi guys,

Just wondering is anybody knew where i could get a Gas conversion from locally? I live in Noble Park North, and I've got a gas tank in my boot, but I want to get rid of that, and install a tank somewhere near the fuel tank underneath the boot, so I have more room for my fully sik subwoofers.

Anyone know where I can get this done?

Ok, now that everyone else can read, and understand your post, I'd say you will be hard pressed to find a tank to fit where you want, let alone get any gas installer to fit you in for the next 6-8 months.

Maybe 2 months ago it would have been easy, but since the government grant came into action, LPG installers have been flogged.

Don't think you can get an LPG tank to fit where you're specifying.

Do you use petrol still? You could run straight gas and delete the petrol tank, thus making room in the boot.

what is with everyone and correcting posts.
i can understand what he said 100%.
b.t.w i like the idea. and when you find someone who is able to do a 50/50 let me know.
i agree with ghia5l, i think a straight pet for gas would be the best, that way they can use the donut shapped tanks that should and i say should fit in the now removed pet tank spot.
if you can get someone to fit it in the next like 12months let us know cos everyone is booked for the next 2 years so im told from my gas specialist.

I was thinking more along the lines of Pilch's setup in his XC, having two smaller gas tanks sitting in a "drop tank" style cradle where the petrol tank used to be, and having a false floor in the boot. above the tanks.
