Bought a car off Lino Ruggieri yesterday. Took a while to work out who he was until he mentioned he used to race drag bikes. For those of you that used to hang around AIR in the late 80's / early 90's, he raced a black GSX Suzuki that used to spend most of it's time on the limiter. He still has the bike in his shed. We spent a few hours talking about the drags at AIR and his battles with the Henry Brothers and Sam Scerri.
Lino used to run a Pizza bar on Regency Rd and quite often had the black Suzi parked out the front.

Always good seeing this thread resurrected!
Hey homegrown, that pic above is from about the time I was racing at AIR, you don't have any shots of my old black coupe do you?

Sorry I would know if I had yours, yours had some really skinny pizza cutters. Got few photos of some other Black XB coupes with Weldies which I'll put up just from random spotting on the streets.
If I ever get the chance to go through my Dads collection though he would have hundreds to a thousand photos of the drags through the 80s 90s.

I reckon this one might be from the GT Nationals of 98 at AIR.

Found a couple of Black XBs with Weldies.

This one where I used to work

Just notice the poor quality pics because the scanner wasnt clean. Will fix it up.

Here some of Mr PB. Sorry it took awhile to get them up.
Found a couple extra. That day you ran a 12.70. I used to write the times on the back of the photos.

Thought Id add these too, I used to think this was yours aswell until I just checked the rego. You might like.

(not sure what the rules are for blanking out rego plates or not but if anyones not happy please delete.

Just noticed the top ones not yours. Im on a roll.
