None whatsoever, to be brutally honest... because it's just a rumour.

Has anyone tried? I know a few people who have already placed a 'pre-order' for the Focus but we know that will come to fruition...

Yeah I'm not feeling the love either. Focus need a hot hatch option because the Focus ST is really a warm hatch not a hot hatch. The fiesta is already a hot hatch. If they wanted to upgrade the Fiesta with 18 inch wheels, some brakes and about 40 more horses in the stable it would be good. Oh and don't forget to get rid of the bumper car aerial.

The bonnet looks like it came from an old Celica.

Oh wow! What a spot to live when it gets cold! Sorry, I'm coming from very much a Queenslander's point of view, so there's all sorts of excitement about snow.

Dropped the old girl in at Ford today for a new timing belt.
Their capped price of $905 for the 150k service didn't seem unreasonable, I was expecting 4 figures at least.
I shopped around for my own oil, so they knocked $75. Not paying that for Castrol GTX when I can get Edge 5-30 for $50.
Got to drive a new Kuga for the day & then when I got back, old mate only charged me $734 with a brake flush too. Pretty happy with that.

I've been without my ST since last Monday as it's at the paint shop/panel beaters to fix 3 issues which were noticed by me a few months after purchase. One in particular was 3 small pointy objects (like pin head points) under the paint work on the drivers side door. Also some paint build up under 2 wheel hubs like droplets. Called my local Ford dealer and was told car will be ready to pickup tomorrow late afternoon. All work done under warranty by a local business. Fingers crossed they did a good job.

Fitted an Airtech intercooler and MP215 kit to the ST the other day. Big difference in the torque in every gear. The intercooler is nicely made and fits up perfectly. Well worth the money.

12% of the value of the car for a service? mmm

Any chance I can find out the cost of what you bought landed here? Can go to a PM if you don't want to broadcast.

I'm in a conversation with Peron Tune UK for a intercooler, Intake and tune which is the same as what you have just done

I ordered the intercooler a while back, from memory it was about $650 landed. I got it from Auto Specialists and they were offering free freight at the time.

How long did it take you to install the intercooler? I have the Airtech Stage 1 IC sitting in the garage, just trying to determine if I can do it in an afternoon?

It took a couple of hours to do the IC. The instructions are very good. I just used a jack to lift the front wheels up a little to make space between the tyre and wheel arches. Didn't need to take the wheels off or put the car on stands.

I got my ST back just over a week ago after paint defects and a few other things were addressed. Local business did an awesome job but I went to a mates place at night and reversed out of his driveway and it's not a straight driveway, just bends a little towards the end and I misjudged it and scratched the front spoiler on the gutter. Booked it in for next Weds at the same place that did the warranty repairs. Cost will be $200.

I have a similar bit of kerb rash from my old mans kerb and driveway. I'm waiting on a front splitter from Triple R to show up soon, which I think will cover this. The cost will be a bit more than $200.00 (mine is $260.00 with a group buy of 3) but it will add a bit of attitude to the front of the car.

Just a thought.

Installed the Boomba Racing RMM over the weekend. Harmonics in the car are loud, and vibrations below 1500rpm are violent, but I love it. Adds another dimension to the car, the car feels as one when WOT (no more axel tramp). My FiST isn't a daily driver though.

haha couldn't describe it better myself.
A bit too harsh for daily imo.
Incidentally, if anyone is interested in a used Boomba RMM PM me.

How long have you had it installed for? Mines quieted down a little now, or I'm used to it lol. I brought one off someone who didn't like it.

It's the resonance vibration around 1500-2000rpm that killed it for me, a shame that it happens around cruising RPM, any other place within the RPM range and I would be able to get used to it.

Had it for about 2000km-ish, it did get better, but not enough for my liking.
ended up silicone filling my stock one, a much better compromise for daily driving.
