[QUOTE=Powdered Toast Man]Um in which alternative reality does a RWD 5.0L Probe exist? Are you sure you're not confusing the fact that the Probe was originally earmarked to be the Mustang replacement befuddle you a bit there? If there was a 5.0L Probe it would have stolen sales from the Mustang. Or were you being sarcastic again? Mind you it would have been a good car!!

I stand corrected. And i am sure i am neither confused or befuddled with the Probe/ Mustang correlation you suggested. I actually meant the Taurus. When in the States i may have been in a very blurry, anaebriated "alternate" reality most of the time and it is testing my memory. Definitely was a V8 but not sure if it was 5.0 or not. I'm pretty sure i saw smoke from the back wheels on one particular car and definitely had V8 note. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Being misinformed really sucks.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Probably much more than what it is actually worth, it appears that the Cobra's and 40th GT's go up $20,000 in price the second you drive it out of the yard.
