Does "Excellent original condition" mean that it came from the factory with that big ding in the front guard?

I reckon the dent in the guard is the least of that cars problems!

It doesn't look like it is original, yes the decals are to high and the rear spoiler doesn't look right. Looks like top dollar for what it may or may not be. :

This is big time suspect, seen it for sale before and now it says $8,900 as the reserve and asking price. and this:

Judging by the fact the seller has a feedback rating of 2! I would say so. Something doesnt smell right about that one.

Mate is selling his 73 Fairmont XB Coupe. It has had a full resto completed almost 12 months ago from top to bottom, inside and out. Have a look in the link if anyone is interested. This car could be described as brand new and looks great!

it may have been hit fairly hard around the doors/quarters
if so, anyone interested would have to be careful that it is not bent out of shape

BUT if it is an original with no rust and in good nic as it looks ...... for the price of some crappers out there and how much to get it back to this state, its not really out of the question though. Its about the cleanest I have seen for some time going by the pics.

I found this out when I bid on an item, but it was won by one of his many personas (the one that won also had items for sale using the same mobile number as the seller). I reported him to ebay, they suspended one or two accounts for a month (after 3 emails of complaint), then it was back to normal trading, ripping off those unfortunate to bid on his items. Now that you can't see who is bidding on items it makes it very easy to get taken for a ride when bidding.
This bloke charges highly inflated prices, but there are those silly enough out there to pay these ridiculous prices.

Just remembered one more - mecarparts - another identity used by this dodgy seller.
He has stopped doing 99c auctions recently, has probably been warned again by ebay about propping up his items.
Watch out if you come across any of these accounts - they all hail from Warragul or Lilydale Victoria, excel in ripping you off and have great difficulty spelling simple words (some of the item descriptions can be funny, but not the prices).
If you do come across a 99c auction from this guy, expect him to use one of his accounts to extract maximum dollars from you. don't bid too early as it will give him a chance to place a high bid, then retract it in order to find out your maximum bid.
This sort of behavior just drives prices up and makes it harder to find any decent bargains.
Ebay is as much at fault as this bloke as they should ban him altogether. They just let him open more and more accounts and continue with his unacceptable practices.

Remember now?

Can someone tell me how to add multiple quotes in a reply please???

Cheers

Cheers Gossy.

I bought a GT fuel cap off "grilled lizard" for my Goss a couple of weeks back. I got it with 1 bid and I was the only bidder in the whole auction. I put my bid in about 5 hours before the auction ended. After I won the auction he was very polite and posted the item fairly promptly.

Perhaps "grilled lizard" is reformed or he is not the same bloke as mrfordspares after all?

I've had a moment of weakness, and put my baby on ebay.

If it doesn't sell, it can stay locked in the shed.....

I'm happy to answer any questions.
