I don't work....I'm an eccentric millionaire.

Seriously, though, I'm in the I.T. industry also. Server admin on multiple domains, dealing with hardware and software support, and implementation.

I currently work in the office of a builder (Ryandale Construction) 2 days a week. I have been doing the same monotonous things for over a year now and I am getting sick of it. I need to find a casual job in the industry I am studying to get into....Sport.

I work for the Department of Human Services (disability services). Work 64.5 hours a fortnight but the way which our rosters are done. I do that 64.5 in 7 days. The hours are crappy, nothing less than 10hours a day. Some shifts spanning more than one day. Working weekends isn't fun. What I hate the most is they can move you around whenever they wish. So you may work local to home for 12mths and not the next 12mths.

I used to like the job but I am over it now as I have kids. The hours make it difficult to fulfill your parenting duties. Such as getting kids to school and picking the up again. I've nearly been there 10 years and are keen to get out and move onto something that pays similar but has 9-5pm hours.

I'm that keen to move out I am considering getting my truck license. So I can work 12pm-8am or something like that. So I can pick the kids up from school etc.

Windows, supporting an external company who outsources their IT to HP. In the time I have been here (9 months) in my team alone 70% have either left or moved departments. Although its very close to home which is good.
