Some years ago in WA town (Tom Price) I was following a car with camper trailer, I think with Vic plates. Planning to turn left, left indicator on car ok, but right indicator on trailer was flashing. A short distance on when they stopped I told the driver about this. Needless to say driver was very surprised, they had travelled from eastern states, spending many days on the road.

Arrogantly and contemptuously sitting in and blocking the right lane on expressways !!!!!!

Arrogantly and contemptuously Blocking traffic on single lane mountain roads, then speeding up in an attempt to maintain position and stop overtaking when duel / overtaking lanes !!!!!!

I don’t get why people are scared to pass police. Had a Highway Patrol sitting in the right lane in a 90 zone driving 70-85. No one was game to pass on the left, HP finally moved to the left lane and no one went past him anyway.
Pretty sure he was taking the ****.

I guess this is on the road... There is a green light for going straight ahead, but you want to turn left. You can't make your turn, however, as there is a red arrow because some pedestrian has hit the crossing button on the traffic light.

The problem is, that pedestrian has decided not to wait for his little green man to rock up, and is already halfway down the next block while you are still unable to get on your way.

It’s really annoying. I’ve seen so many people press the button mid stride with no traffic coming. They have no intention of waiting but still press it anyway.

Don't worry, this behaviour is not restricted to 'mountain roads', regularly come upon the same behaviour on highways. Cars banking up behind one of these amazing people and then they really take off when we reach a passing lane and only a few cars actually manage to get past.
This is made worse because it seems that some drivers are not confident to pass a slower car on a clear straight stretch, they wait until there is a passing lane.

People who slow the traffic flow by prioritizing their hair do rather than actually driving / paying attention.

People that tailgate me, especially when I'm driving the FGX XR8 which is my pride and joy. With so many people driving distracted, or driving affected by drugs or booze these days, I'm fearful of somebody hitting me.

Roger I understand as whilst not my Turbo as much my modded Maloo oh my god.

Yeah I know a Ford forum but my Maloo was like a target for someone to be a metre off on a highway yet I had nowhere to go as car in front?!

Was ridiculous

Hi Guy's
What i hate is when your in the right lane on a motorway and you find a Learner Driver in front of you going well below the speed limit.
I don't blame the Learner driver, i blame the person teaching the Learner driver.

When i learnt to drive it was the left lane that you stayed in and that way the traffic could go past you safely.
If you learn to drive the proper way now and know all the traffic rules it will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Yep it's a problem in Tassie too.

I know they are under stress on timeframes etc but I've seen some bizarre tailgating in semis even when going the speed limit.

It's extremely dangerous

Probably a already mentioned but those who indicate to change lanes yet are already in your lane anyway......

I always indicate give it a few seconds and usually flashed and in you go in peak hour.

Mind you some try and cut you off the second you indicate so I guess I understand why many do it.

This is a minor anoyance to me. People with the dual clutch autos and an exhaust and a tune on them that backfire even when driving like normal people.
I was driving behind some amg deal who wasnt driving like a knob, just like a normal person, but every time it shifted it backfired. Seriously, granted, my car has an exhaust and will burble, but only when you rev the guts out of it and let off, but not a full on pop. Hmmm i might just be getting old.

People who stop a good car length from the stop line at traffic lights. Especially the ones that have sensors in the road..what if no one turns up...do they just sit there forever??

Drunk drivers, hate 'em.
I do an early shift some Saturday mornings and see them regularly.
One in particular this morning at about 3:30am using the catseyes on the freeway as brail lines, worse still he was driving in the middle lane which made getting past even more of a butt clencher.
Still had a can in his hand too

I thought Traffic Controllers were supposed to make the roads safer.
This morning about 10:30 am was driving west on Wellington Rd Mulgrave, Vic. a 3 Lane 80 KM/H zone.
As you approach the Monash Freeway Wellington Rd narrows from three to two lanes, you go over a crest and proceed downhill.
For a while there has been a mobile electronic sign on the left side of the road over the crest giving you approximate travel times.
This morning they decided to relocate the sign so they had a large traffic control truck blocking one lane of the two lane section so the towing vehicle could get back safely on Wellington Rd.
The braindead idiots parked the truck blocking the lane over the crest so you only saw the blocked lane as you were virtually on top of the truck.

Coming across road works signs saying 60KM/H and then drive 5KM and nothing to be seen, I seen this many a time, only the other day the same nonsense and then hear is the un marked cop car siting off the road, I seen the in car radar, the cop was sitting with the door open eating looking down the road, I was doing 100KM/H as I passed and then up the road was a road works ute driving along going to set up another speed sign.

I thought hang on FFS I was thinking of going back and abuse the cop, but for the cars behind me pushing me along I was thinking of.

Do the cops in QLD still have to pull you up to give you a ticket or is it just sent to you in the mail, not sure if in car radar does send out like the Vans do, I think they still have to pick you up.

I think you've explained what was going on perfectly. Just look at it from a different angle.

So you passed the first speed sign and further up the road the traffic controller was putting out another. Sounds like they were still in the process of setting the site up.

And there was no workers to be seen. Well they don't set foot on the road until the relevant controls are in place. Why? Hopefully by then people won't be doing 40 over through the site
