Picked it (the explorer) up from Ford after the ECU was reflashed - runs much better on petrol now. Also fitted the fuel cap that arrived from athol park auto wreckers. Just about to head off for a test drive to see if it's all good.

After a long couple of months, I finally got my turbo back! Just have to put an actuator on it and fit it back up

Went and bought a clay from supercheap yesterday and asked about the k an n filters for my EL ghia, he said he had none here but there were 2 at the windsor store, they were $105.00, but were on special, $40.00. Yup got 1 today and put it on and I LOVE IT....the engine is quieter, it is more responsive and i think at $40.00 and not having to replace it again.yahooo...

Fitted BA 303mm Rear Brakes on to the Fairlane, as well as a Full system Bleed!

Brakes are alot better but there is still some play in the Pedal. Think the Bolt needs adjusting on the Booster...

Fitted manual to my old WRX as the STI motor and auto don't really run that well together plus I suspected flex plate issues ?? Seems I was right..

Motor has recently been rebuilt with forged rods and pistons, crank was linished etc..
This is a result of A1 auto's in Penrith fitted another auto.. They said it was engine noise.. Ahh o/k ..

Rattling ?? Hell yea !! Sent strange harmonics through front serpentine belts too..
Belts are tight and coming down from rpm they flexed big time..

Had it nearly stolen saturday night. Parents left the front door open fella took the keys off the table and heard it start up at about 1AM. Ran out the door in my tighty whiteys with phone in hand dialing 000. Luckily it's untuned and kicks like a mule when you try to drive it as it's just been started. He stalled it then slowly got out of the car and took off down the street with my wallet throwing cards and **** over everyones lawn.

Today I went to Bunnings to get a heap of building supplies...Two lengths of guttering and a heap of timber. Borrowed their big plasterboard trailer to get it all home. My AU 5.0 ute towed the big trailer like it wasn't even there.
My girlfriends dad in the background helping to unload the trailer...

I also got some SL and SSL Kings for the Falcon, just need to wait for them to turn up so I can fit them.

.............And then hope I have enough camber adjustment in the stock set up to get some reasonable settings, I'm hoping for somewhere around -1.5 front and -0.75 rear, other wise its long bolted front shim kits for the front and arms for the rear.

Fingers crossed..
