I helped my neighbor change a flat tyre this afternoon. Once upon a time I would have second guessed myself but I just leapt to it with confidence today.
Maybe the confidence came from my new red shoes! Not only are they red, those shoes are called the Adidas Run Falcon.

Are the shoes exactly the same shade as the 'Stang? If not, I'm disappointed.

Oh, and when can we expect to see a thread on how to detail your shoes to keep them looking their very best?

I have a pair of shoes where the soles are made by Michelin. Theyre badged on the bottom and the back of the soles. Cannot tell if they aid traction compared to my other shoes. I didnt buy them for the Michelin thing, due to no shops being open i ordered them off the interwebs and that was just an odd thing to find out upon lacing them up.

9 years ago I ordered a very expensive pair of special hiking boots from Propet USA, they manufactur special orthopaedic shoes, boots etc. Sent a copy of both feet on A4 paper, pencil around foot, wrote measurements in imperial, according to them I had a wide foot etc, etc. Supposed to be waterproof up to the top lace hole, asked for plastic eyelets specifically for gold prospecting, swinging detector set off by brass eyelets, paid them $330.00 US dollars and $45.00 US dollars postage! Very expensive but apparently the best 4 months later I get a package, covered in Chinese stamps from customs and such, they looked great, but I thought for the cost I was supporting an American worker in an American workshop? They were not wide enough, had brass eyelets and there was no insole? I wore them at home for a day, when I took em off I had the pattern of a milk crate in both heels, they forgot the insole. Emailed maker and went off my nut, they said "that's what you ordered" geez I had the ****s, but either send back to USA, not China or put it down to bad experience, I bought Scholl insoles but that made em too tight, and every time I swung my metal detector it went off What a scam, made in China, posted from China and paid for in US dollars Cheers bWilliam |

Out to the pub for dinner tonight, which s the first time in a couple of weeks due to the lockdown. Was nice being able to share a meal with my mum, daughter, her boyfriend and a family friend.
