Dad had one of those 3.0S Capris from that era, I remember laughing my head off as dad got it 130mph on the M1 with mum screaming. Tickford actually did a slightly smaller 2.8 version but with a turbo that was good for 150mph.

Went out a mates place today and was bored so I asked if he still had his old van that we use to flog around the padock and he said yeah its out the back. Now this van had been sitting for 2 years and they couldn't get it started..I told them to give me a look. Cleaned the plugs, threw some fuel down the carby, found a battery, replaced water hose and put on a wheel. After some playing it fired up so we took it out the paddock for some fun. Not bad seeing as its been sitting for so long and in such bad condition haha.
