Geely Falcon XR6 turbo. I'd take one even if they were made in a sweatshop in Shanghai, as long as they kept the Falcon feel, imperfect fit and finish and all, RWD, ZF and I6.

Even the 'smaller' size is in the RWD plans... Seem far more advanced in planning for RWD than Ford is... Hopefully we get some here in future.

There's a thought. What will happen to all of the body manufacturing gear at Ford and Holden? Maybe there will be a Chinese-made copy? they did it with MG....

Sold off for scrap, or sold off for other businesses to use. The tooling will probably end up being destroyed.

Highly unlikely Ford will sell its IP and other rights to the cars, badges etc.

I reckon it will be all toast, other than plenty of the standard gear. Basically a repeat of the Mitsubishi closure.

Someone will go through the joint after it closes to asses what can be sold and what will be scrapped (just like they did with FPV). Not sure how they will go about selling stuff but I would think they would use an auction company and do it in one big hit.

when they stripped out part of AMO last year Grays Auctions had an on-site viewing so I'd expect similar.
