People who sit in the overtaking lane (right lane), refuse to exit to left or middle lane, & sit either exactly on the speed limit or 5k below. Then pop the bird or shake the fist at me when I finally overtake them on the left! think i'm going to get an f100 with a big bulbar & a couple of 100 wat spotties, with the number plate rammer

People who send you a message telling you what they want you to buy them when you go overseas.
They'll give me money before I leave of course. I'm going on a trek in Nepal. Not a shopping trip. Who has two thumbs and needs New friends?

I'm doing the Muktinath trek with Slow Trekking. Mum, my sister and I are all going in November. Mum went in 2010 on the same trek and loved it.

I hate teenagers and pre-teens who think they're the best thing since sliced bread and decide to annoy everyone in the train.
Might decide to accidently stretch my leg out on the aisle when they go by.

You drive up / down a long, windy ramp to a carpark for a place you haven't visited before and get to a boom gate, with prices next to where you press the button.
I guess displaying them at the entrance is a stupid idea? Sending an email to somone in an office with 'Please call me to reply, don't email back as I'll be out all day' only to get home in the evening and see their reply by email....

I also really hate scripted, generic corporate gobly gook emails that do nothing to reply to you, just get you all frustrated with the person sending it because it would have been faster to actually reply rather than cut and paste from the script.... "We look forward to hearing from you" "We invite you to call back between Xam and zpm" "We thank you for your enquiry, will endeavour to assist you further if you call us back with more details" (and the email to them had all the details they need)... Signed off by "Customer Service"... You wonder if they were ever 'normal' people??? Yup great help that.... and so much for a response in 24 hrs... try 7 days. I replied and gave it to them... Lots of sarcastic abuse (that was very childish on my part) in the hope it would trigger a more personal response / phone call back to give them round 2. That never came, but I did eventually get what I requested in my first email, and the venting made me feel soooo much better.

When you have to fix a few things on your car, not important things just little niggly things, so you wash your car to feel good and find your tire is flat... I could of sold it for a case of beer this morning

I hate driving at 80kph, along a road that runs parralel to a golf course and suddenly having a wayward ball hit the front of your car and put a pretty little dent in it.
Thankfully it was not my windscreen. |

I hate when you take a week off, and as I have personal use of my phone in my contract I had my phone on and in my pocket on Monday
Bad IDE from 1pm - 8pm it didn't stop At 8pm I asked my caller why this wasn't resolved last week? His reply "I was on leave with my family last week" My reply was simpy "exactly!!!!!!" and hung up I'll probably be in a spot of trouble come Monday but FFS I took holidays for time off with my family, not to work from a more remote location

simple things in life, first cuppa, fresh hot thick slice of bread and a beautiful sunrise. took a lump out of the palm of my hand today, which was fun, using a set of "super jaws" ( basically a large, foot operated press) to cold forge a set of large hinges from 2" X 1/4" flat steel and a 3/4" rod, flat steel flew out one way, rod flew the other, slogging hammer left my hand at a rapid rate of knots just missing my left leg and my palm went into the fast closing jaws, all in less than the blink of an eye. took a piece out of my hand roughly 1 and a half inches long by 1" high by 1/2" deep. didn't think much of that!

she who would be the possessor of all things shiny wont allow "single portion" butter in the house, I'm not even allowed to have a few of my favourite things in the shed fridge, oh well thats the price for happiness I guess.

Ok, need to add my "geez I hate that." I stopped by a drugstore today to buy headache medicine and I'm standing nicely in line. I noticed a guy get in line behind me. A split second later I actually felt him breathing on the back of my head! That's how close he was standing behind me. I sort of look to the side of me and see there's NO ONE BEHIND HIM!! And yet this guy just has to stand this close to me. *sigh* Eww, that's just too close. With 2 people in front of me in line, I made the quick decision to get out of line because I couldn't stand this guy in back of me. I left the line (didn't even look at him) like I forgot to get something. Then I actually went to get a chocolate bar, check if another register opened up and luckily one did, so I stood in that line to pay for my headache medicine and chocolate bar. Figured the chocolate would help my headache meds kick in faster.
I posted on here, pages ago, that it bugged me when people just don't respect personal space. I gave the example of when I was talking with someone and that person kept stepping closer and closer to me as I backed up. OK now this guy at the drugstore today stood WAY to close to me behind me. Personal space, people *making a circle with my arms*, argggh! |

I hate it when truck drivers with oversized loads take up both lanes of a main road with no police escort causing banked up traffic behind them in peak hour.
I dislike it when other drivers cannot negotiate other traffic and end up holding up everyone behind them due to their own incompetence. i.e. being able to pass a bus that is rightly parked into a bus parking bay.

My remedy is a little more low tec - I put it under my arm for 20 seconds (if it's folded) and 30-40 seconds if it's in a sealed tub. I get some funny looks... but meh, whatever works right?
