With many thanks to the Ford Discovery Centre Geelong, Im pleased to show you guys some of the items we will be raffling on the day:

1st up an autographed picture of Jackie Stewart O.B.E.

Secondly, a Ford TShirt signed by Allan Moffatt,

and finally (the best one) an FDC Tshirt signed by over 15 different Ford V8 Supercar drivers including John Bowe, Glenn Seton, Steven Johnson and many more.

All these items will be raffled off on the day with all proceeds going to charity, so here's your chance to pick up a bargain!

Im also happy to announce that Adam and the team at AWC will be an official sponsor for the event. Thanks for getting behind the day guys!

Event Entry forms will also be uploaded in the coming days - details on how to fill them in etc will be loaded also.

Interested in knowing more about 5th November in Wagga. Seems everyone outside Hillis Ford knows about it... except me of course. What is planned for when... and how much will that cost?

Here's a brief rundown:

Saturday, November 5th

All Ford Day - gates open @ 8am for entrants, 10am for public. Close at 5pm.
Cost is $10 per car to enter or $2 donation for the public to come and have a look.
All proceeds go to charity.
After the show is officially over, we'll have a BBQ for all forum members etc, and possiblty a cruise around Wagga.

Sunday, November 6th

Possibly a breakfast for everybody - this will be determined closer to the date. It really depends on when people are planning to leave to head home etc.

Entry forms to get your car into the show are available in the thread under this one, and if you need anything else, let me know!

Yup. All FordForums members who want to be positioned alongside the main forums group of displaying cars should just put "fordforums.com.au" as the club they're part of.
Any questions about the entry form, PM or email me.

Hi Young 'un - the link to the entry form is a few posts up the page - this will take you to another page and you will see the file there to bring up the entry form.

Was quite happy to pay for my own entry as it is for charity - good of Laminge to make the offer but I happily decline the offer - would be good if the entrants pay their own entry fee and then Laminge could make a donation of an amount of his own choice - the winner - the charity.

James I agree with you and it is something I will speak to Gary about privately. If members are having difficulty finding the $ for the entry fee (but come on, it is only $10), please PM me and we will arrange something.

Nothing will be decided formally until I speak to Gary about this issue. I'll keep you posted.

Oh, and also. Im getting a lot of PM's from people asking if theyre 'allowed' to come.

I'll put it simply:

everybody is welcome!

Regardless of your car or its condition - if you are proud of it and want to share it with everybody - then download a form and send it my way! I will find room for all of you (there's plenty of it), and the day is just as much about meeting each other offline as it is looking at cars. Its going to be a great day regardless of if youre a car person or not, family etc etc.

Will be great to see a good selection of cars - as you say, does not have to be a show car - I used to have some pretty old cars but I kept them in as good condition as my new one - I enjoy going to the shows to see variety - Albury Wodonga All Ford Day was a good example of this - they had a great line up of cars, vintage, classics, open & closed rods, and you could say that all models of Fords were on display on the day. This will be a good opportunity to meet members of the Forum and put a face to the names.

Ciao - James

No problems mate, on the entry form - "Show Plate" means that if you're having another set of numberplates on your car for the show (i.e. numberplates with your FordForums username on them etc), write it there.

So, for example, Im using some FordForums showplates made up with username on them, so my entry form will look like this:

Numberplate: AMP-11R Showplate: "Back2thefutura"

Ya get me? :

Hi Young Un - my understanding is that a show plate is your own personalised number plate that you have had made for the car and is not legal and cannot be placed on your car for everyday use.

e.g. - You might want a plate with YoungUn on it - you just have this plate made and then when you show it at a car show, you remove your normal number plates and put your "YoungUn" number plates on just for the show - you have to put your legal number plates back on before you take it back on the road.

Ciao - James - see you at Wagga
