I dont even know what to think now about the way GTF and this has been handled. Sure they dont have to do anything really but as someone who in a round about way cares for the brand I cant help but feel disheartened.
In saying that if it looks good enough, and the run out deals are sharp id look at a XR6T in 2015. Although im just cheap and cant seem how a new sedan is worth $35k over the TE so it will be more of a tax exersice than anything else.

I don't know why they don't just advertise them with these prices in the first place.

any more spy shots. I cant beleive we are so close to it being released and no firm shots yet? Ford have done a great job keeping it quiet.
The VF commodore had pictures all over the place before it was released. Holden just parked it on the side of the street before release. Ford are so good at hiding it, maybe they should be better at showing it!! (once released) |

Of course they have, Ford AU wouldn't want anyone to be actually interested in buying it now would they?
Could you imagine if this car was wildly successful like previous models? That'd mean they might have to keep the factories open after 2016! |

True. 'AV' was also in the works for the BA briefly at the beginning if I recall.

But I can't decide what spec to get. I can justify to myself getting a G6E or an XR6 (or either turbo variant) but the there's a part of me that is hearing the call of an XR8. In any case, I'd be unlikely to get a ute. I love my BF ute to bits. It's been great to us and has worked incredibly hard in the 60,000km we've put on it.It's carted stuff around, helped us move house, saved us having to give people lifts home on nights out, all the good stuff. Besides, it'd probably be worth peanuts in two years time anyway, so I'll probably hold on to it.

If I like the look of the new Falcon inside and out then I will be looking at XR6T or The XR8

are you sure they didn't write '2' instead of '3'? That's unheard of cheap and sounds bizarre

Sounds wrong to me because luxury pack is a $4000 option.

What a shame Ford didnt do BG for the falcon - we could have had a full on Bee Gee theme going on for models ie XR6T 'night fever', XR8 'you win again' (post bathurst victory special) and the G6ET 'too much like heaven'.

How close to release do you think it is? I wouldn't expect to see it unwrapped until about August at the earliest, more likely September for an Oct/Nov on sale date.

Should have mentioned this was employee pricing. These figures are correct, I was looking at my brochure they wrote it in as I was typing. It's an excellent price, and I love the look of the FG2, that's my dilemma...!

Ford is running the family and friends program again, which is employee price + $2000. Only on Falcon and Territory delivered before a certain date, which I have forgotten.
