Hi all, glad to have access to this site. Got a AU11 XR8 ute. It has needed a lot of TLC and thanks to fordforums I've been able to nut out a fair bit of the problems myself, which have all been pretty common! There is just something special with these utes that has me on the restoration path. Cheers!

Hey guys, great to be a part of the forum, this place is so informative and I have learn t so much, I am a first time ford owner (03 BA futura) and cant believe how comfortable these cars are. I just wanted a cheap car for work transport and was amazed by how well this car rides. Now I want to mod it so it looks as nice as it drives. Cheers

G'day all Fordites,
been lurking here for a month or so basically searching for various techie info and have decided to join the fray. Thought I'd make my first post a good'n so here goes... I have an XT Fairmont which I have had off the road for around 25 yrs and decided initially to sell it. At the time, I had just rebuilt the engine, installed a top loader & a 9 inch. Then I proceeded to get married....kids, house etc.etc. so it sat in the shed unfinished all that time. Was asking 10 grand and kept on getting dicked around so I've now decided to finish it off and keep it as a family cruiser. I've got a lot more pics but I'll leave that for the project car section. Here's a vid as a little teaser: http://youtu.be/-KjMezBca5k Cheers for now |

Hi,
My name is Aaron and I live near Brisbane. Over the years I have many Fords including a XB GT, mind you the car was only 2 or 3 years old when I had it. Currently I have a HDT Brock Commodore and I am considering buying a BF GT/GTP in the new year. I am not biased towards make or model, I just love a good clean muscle car. Cheers |

Hi names Rod live in Ipswich I am a Vietnam vet. I have a 2011 Clubsport R8 as my fun car and a El Ford Fairmont for my run about it has 200,000 kms on the clock. It is a one owner and goes as it did when it first come of the showroom floor. Love it ,even though I am a Holden man.
I don't worry about brands of cars I love anything that has a motor and wheels. if it has tits its trouble lol. |

Hi all,
I am new here. Currently residing in Canberra I would post some photos of my build but I am not very computer savy. Rebuilding a 61 falcon but I am still trying to decide if I should keep it standard or not. All original but far from not perfect. So I will be doing a bit of reading on the forum to help me with the big decisions. Darhell |

Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking for a while and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Tony and I live in Bundoora Victoria. I purchased my first territory in October 2013. It is a 2007 Ghia AWD with only 73K on the clock. Hopefully I will get a good run out of this like I did with my 88 LTD that I purchased in 1999. |

Hi everyone, Just looking through the pictures and wow, some really nice cars! We live in NSW and have a DJR 320Kw build number 1, owned by Dick for a while and used as a promo car. It is still stock standard as Herrod Motorsport and Dick made it we would love to change a few things - not that it needs it but you know what it's like but being the first one we are mindful to leave it original. It doesn't get out much but we took it to the car show at Sydney 500 on the weekend with the FPV-Tickford Club and had a really good time.
Are there any other DJR320 owners on here? would love to find where the others are and what colours/specs they are. There were only 25 made according to Dick and we know of about only 6 of them. |
