The difference between me and some here is that I don't see China as an enemy. They are a threat in a lot of areas, but they also present a lot of opportunities in others. We have been trading with them for nearly 50 years. We also hold partnerships in a lot of science, education and R&D activities, that benefits both countries. I also think the relationship management has been ballzed up majorly, and there is no one in the current gov who has the knowledge, skill or experience to deal with it. I am for team Australia, and I fear Australia's prosperity, a major part of national security, is being jeapordised. Finally, I don't see this as black and white, or a zero sum game. There is a balance to be had. There are risks and we need to manage those risks. That's it. |

now people who ask for some clarity is assumed insecure - seriously I'm lost with your approach and how you read peoples comments.
I don't see everyone's pov is that they are THE enemy per say but a buisiness partner you cannot trust for the proof is in the pudding for all to see over many many years. In fact from my reading elsewhere the main reason for Scomo's reaction to the cartoon or whatever people wish to call it today, after a number of years he has been involved pre PM he had a gut full of their behaviour, sure maybe it was premature but you know, even a PM can react in haste but its not his fault or reason where we are today with them re relations, its been years of tooing and froing/back stabbing and yes we're guilty as well. More so by individuals putting us in compramising situations like Dastyari types for eg. I've mentioned before good relationeship is a win win, just as you quote, opportunities both sides, how well do you read people's pov's ? not much it seems. All you mention is in part what I have quoted before, much to prosper both sides, maybe you don't understand or read and digest what one says who knows. Ballzed up - both are guilty of that my friend not our side alone. All Govs play dirty pool but they take the cake ! , I expect our Gov to stand up for US, they portray to the world we're the guilty party of the unrest, nothing last's forever but ties won't be cut completely, change is healthy, we cannot be dictated to (and let them influence our Gov so much past to present) like they are portraying us as the bad guys, fear is being insecure, you must feel as such I don't. Your welcome.

You are not the only one lost with these comments as I have noticed some peoples comments are bit patronizing at times, hence the reason why I have not bothered to debate any further in this and some other topics. Cheers |

So now these pricks are saying australian meat caused the coronavirus. What a bunch of utter clowns. But then again, they believe torturing an animal before you eat it makes it taste better |

Our parliament is made up of anti Australian, spineless fright bats. The only legislation they will introduce are that which their globalist overlords pay them to introduce...

Guys there is no brain washing going on at uni's, and if those with the time to wave cards around are doing it for the attention or their degrees are obviously not keeping them busy enough.

It's happening right under the wests noses, and many people are still in denial that the chinese aren't infiltrating governments left right and centre to influence government decisions.
https://www.revolver.news/2020/12/ch...ol-of-america/ The chinese are basically laughing about it they are so brazen. Guys like former Labor politician Sam Dastyari prove they can be bribed and influenced. Then you have democrat politicians like this guy. https://thefederalist.com/2020/12/09...3QRtIo.twitter Why do you think the elites and the msn went after Trump so hard? He was the one guy who wouldn't bend the knee to the chinese. Then you have us colleges being under chinese influence. I have no doubt it's happening here too, with the amount of chinese students being sent to our universities. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pom...lleges-beijing Last edited by Bossxr8; 10-12-2020 at 02:09 PM. |

Criminal probe launched into Hunter Bidens chinese associations. Been going on for a while, but of course the msn never mentioned it till after the election. |
