G'Day all
Just purchased my first Ford in a while, a beautiful BFII XR6. My last Falcon was a much missed EBII. I've only been on the forum a couple of days but already the knowledge here is amazing. Cheers |

Names Emma, currently in Australia. I'm 17 years of age and a ford lover and a ford mustang thriver! I'm currently owning a Au Fairmont 2000. Pretty much smoking brand new, and in mint condition. I've had the car for 3 years, and never has it hesitated or broken down. Love the thing to death! Feel free to chat at anytime, as i'm a young blood and love my cars, as much as you do! |

G'day fellas. I am Mike and been driving Fords for nearly 40 years except for a brief 3 year affair with Holdens around 1976. I realised the saying about Holdens was true... "fill 'er up with oil and check the fuel" and quickly came back home to Fords. My current Ford BA one ton tray is still serving me well since new in 2003.

Hi,
I am Peter and I just bought a 2003 Explorer V8 4.6l as my project car. Yes, I like a challenge! It has a great engine, duco and interior. Just put it into the shop to make sure the steering and ABS are 100%. Looking forward to making this my weekend cruiser. I have 2 questions as I am no mechanic. Can this engine run E10 fuel? If so, is there any genuine benefit running the e10 100 octane fuel? Thanks. |

My name is Craig. I own a 2007 territory ts. I like the car but have had many niggling problems apart from the usual complaints I have read about. Compounded by a new transmission earlier this year. Thank you for the forum to share Information. I look forward to using it and hopefully assisting others.

Good evening all,
My name is Ken , I have just acquired a 62 XL deluxe ute which I have promised the seller I will keep stock and only maintain in original form. There are many differing passions to having an old car or a newer car. If you want to modify a car, that is you passion and choice. If you come across an unmolested classic, the only thing to do is leave it a classic. (I really enjoy innovative fixes to go fast, make better new cars, nothing much has changed since a motor was put into a buggy.) All the vehicles I have owned have been in better nick from when I got them to when I sold, and this one will be the best. That is the way my ute will stay. I have had much positive support so far from members of the Ford Forums, and look forward to my continued interest in postings. Cheers. |

Hello all,
Ivan is my name, new to this forum, I am currently in the process of trying to finish off and get on the road a 1974 XB GT Falcon and return it to its owner. This car belonged to a dear friend of mine Steve, who has passed away, may he RIP. I promised him that I would finish the car and give it back to his wife. I look forward to chatting with you guys on here so that I can learn and educate myself and finish off this classic muscle car. I will post some pics of where I'm at so far, probably in another area I guess. Thank you Australian Ford Forums for the opportunity to join this club. |

Howdy, Tom from Brunswick here. Been enjoying browsing everyone's rides so far, some really nice cars on here. Here's a bit about mine:
Green EL GLi Tickford gas wagon = work car, tows a dual axle 7x5 trailer every day and has only eaten one motor and one transmission in 3 years so far, lol. Sold my red manual EF XR6 wagon to a bloke from Geelong back in 2008 or 2009 - he also drove an orange XR5 - anyone know the guy? Would love to know what happened to my old beast, it had some mumbo (146rwkw with only exhaust work by JMM) but I could barely look at the thing without being pulled over. Not bad driving either, it was just a cop magnet for some reason. Just threw down a deposit on a blue EL Fairmont V8 wagon. I really love E series wagons (previous rides include white EA, ice blue ED Fairmont and a silver EF, all wagons). |

Hello all, It's been about 5 years since I've visited here..... some may remember me, most won't lol
I used to have an EB Fairmont Ghia 5.0 Wagon which the wife and I took to the Ford Forums Raid back in 2002(?).... since then I've owned an EB Fairmont Ghia, EL Fairmont Ghia, 2x EF Fairmonts and until recently a 1997 Mazda 323 Hatch. The hatch was written off so I took the opportunity to get back into a Ford and purchased this EL Fairmont Ghia last week: It looks like I have a lot of reading to do, the site has changed a great deal!! Anyways I look forward to being more active Jason.

Hi
Got to say this website has helped me immensely in the build of my ef xr8, I have got rid of the e7's and ho manifold and cam. Got a set of gt40p's for $300 and they were in good nick, had them reco'd by rams in windsor who ported both them and the lower manifold to suit, installed with new springs to suit the new cam, put cam in dialled in then had the joy of the spark plug problems with standard headers. Heat and hammer until I can afford the correct headers (Ran out of funds) did all the work myself and had a good time doing such a large job. Installed all AU MAF, TB, blue top injectors for s2, and milled out EGR spacer so all looks original. Fired it up originally with std ef injectors and as expected running lean, installed au2 injectors and ran good on original tune. Took a mate for a run and he was very surprised as he compared it to his fg turbo and my old man compared it to his ve caprice v8. It has improved immensely since the install of these parts. I have installed high temp plug boots but when I degreased it yesterday the water transferred to much heat and destroyed a plug boot which gave me a miss. So now when I have more funds I need advice on which headers will suit my application, so those out there that have done the same upgrade please provide me with your chosen header that fits correctly. Thanks Greg |

G'day everyone!
My name is Daniel and I just bought my first car! It's a 2009 FG Falcon XR6 6spd auto (...yes I know it's only an auto and naturally aspirated but two of my biggest regrets in life so far have been: 1- Never learning how to drive stick and 2- being lazy and getting my P-plates after I turned 20...) Anyway owning one of these has been a dream for a while and so after graduating from uni last year I worked and saved my *** off this year to finally buy one and I'm so glad I did it! Hoping to learn heaps about making the most out of my car from Ford Forums. Any tips right off the bat? Cheers, Daniel |

Like many of you, I bleed blue. My first small job is to portmatch the 4.0lt six in my xh ute. It has been with me nearly ten years and Aside from door drop and a few insignificant things, it has required the mechanics hand, Once! If I had of worked out that I needed to remove the air filter box to get at the dizzy and coil, it wouldn't have needed to go that time either. Its a bit of a Frakenstien electrically but Ace!
