Agreed on the expensive part Dave

I have noticed some ludricous prices on XW and XY Fairmont Falcons on some other used car sites (ie $68k and $78k respectively. Std cars not even GS or GT mockups). I think too many people are thinking we are back to the crazy pre crisis days again

I cant even remember these sort of prices for these types of cars in the "Crazy Price Days", i guess if someone pays this it will on again for young and old....

I can't imagine why you'd want to change from Neptune Blue?? It's not that I don't like Flame Red but........................

This thing has been on the Ford Muscle Cars site like forever!! Obviously a very patient seller.

I am selling this XB Fairmont Coupe it is a factory K code car and is a 12 / 73 build. I was going to use this coupe to build another Mad Max Interceptor but have decided not to go down this path again. If your looking for a great solid coupe to restore then you need to seriously consider this one. If you buy a bare car it can cost you many thousands of dollars buying all the parts needed to complete it.

Car is in Melbourne.

And if i did'nt have the other 2 projects it would be sitting next to the XA.
I tried to reason with "it still has 2 doors" but she is adamant she wants the other 2 door.

Another Landau I know for sale in the Trading Post this week! This one from what I can recall was restored at Kustom City on the Gold Coast last year. The owner told me it owes him over 50k.... so he must have some mad reason to sell then?

cheers

Not everyones cup of tea, but I like it. rented a room off the family this belongs to a few years back, couldn't help stop and stare every time I walked past it, far from original but still amazing.

This was sold at the buy it now with days to go. No one here who is looking for a matching numbers coupe whine that they cannot buy a V8 F'mont for under $15,000 Looks worse in the pics than it actually is.

Agree 100%. The problem is, talks cheap, dreams are free but decent coupes actually cost a few $$.

H is Tropic Gold. As it states, "prep coat of blue", so I would think that it has had work and is now ready for final coat????

The add is still on Ebay but has been edited to "SOLD IN A PRIVATE SALE AWAY FROM EBAY"

It would be interesting to know how much this car went for.

It looked nearly complete, but that rust. That's going to be a big project.

I look at mine at times and think it's bad but compared to this one, mine is in great condition.

And its still on eBay. People shouldn't be allowed to start auctions and sell privately. Either sell it privately, or have an auction.

I'm with you - I thought mine was bad until I saw that one.
