I find that I don't really care what she is cooking, it could be revolting, but I just find her very relaxing to watch. As I said, that's not in reference to her pouting lips and well stocked rack either.

I like the bit where she's alway sneaking a snack out of the frig.
Baking with Anna Olson is my new favourite.

I like how she de-snobbed the food industry. Sure, she uses some obscure ingredients but it's the way she took the pomp out of TV cookery. She would often use frozen breadcrumbs or vegetables because that was what was convenient.

I like how she put some desire and primeval need into food, hence the dark, late night fridge raid. I especially loved the clip, which I can't find other than this image, of her saying "I need to be alone with my sandwich." I mean, don't we all need to take minute with our chosen food pleasure!?

I attended the Nigella evening with my younger sister, who at the time was just starting to fly in her management career. The night was more than food and included Nigella's experiences and advise for life. There was a moment where she was talking about young women, giving her wisdom on climbing the "system" in a male dominated industry. My sister is pretty assertive, sometimes abrupt, in her climbing of the ladder. I like to think Nigella's wise words gave my sister something to think about that evening and I think she gained an insight as to why I admire her so much.

Funniest thing I saw her on was an Opra Winfrew show. The fat Yanky audience were horrified when Nigella exclaimed nothing can be bad with chocolate.

My poor dog has had diarrhoea for three days, took her to vet last night, on anti biotics.
Told to feed her chicken and rice.
Just got back from Coles, found one tray of diced chicken thighs, that was it, shelves empty, that'll do.
Go down the rice isle, stripped bare apart from basmarti rice.
Lucky I'm tall because on the very top shelf right at the back were 2 lonely little bags of rice, thank you very much.
Yes I left the other one behind for someone else to find and make their day.

Geez, I watched a TV show, Animal Rescue yesterday and a dog they picked up had diarrhoea the rescuer said to the owner to feed it chicken and rice, he said I've been giving it rice only?

Happy the police have not lost their detection skills in the computer age, finding the young girls body, sadly deceased, but using their life skills by learning on the job then applying that to find these child murderers, what a rotten job it is sometimes!
And I thought Boilermaking was hard!

But it made me feel good!......

It appears that I have finally sorted out a major pain in the **** problem from last year that I spent many of weeks looking at after being back from holidays for a week and a bit.

I worked an extra couple of hours so decided to have an early one today and sink some tins

they would give you belly ache mate. Talking about those foam tubes little tykes wrap under their arms to prevent themselves from drowning.
the tubes are useful for many projects

I'm a bit confused about even having something to put a pool noodle on in the first place. Never seen that before.

I have a roller door where as the pic is a panel door which is a bit different but still? I need answers now

When you open the hatch on your car it goes up and hits the garage door on the beams where he has put the pool noodles.
The noodles stop you damaging your car.
I had a Mazda6 which has a large rear hatch door, put a huge ding in it when I opened it the first time, bang.

Haha I have a WRX which is not so big that I need to worry about it I guess. I even drive in while the door is going up and pop the boot

Not sure what the chicken and rice thing is about, but I am certain dogs are not supposed to eat rice (where would they get boiled rice from in nature), mine would not even recognise it as food.

Wrong!
Nothing whatsoever wrong with boiled (white) rice for dogs!
Mrs regularly cooks up a pot of rice with chicken, or diced steak/pork for ours!
In fact, this was recommended by the vet for our (spade 8yr old) rottweiler who periodically had incontinence issues… Not only did she love her rice, but also helped enormously with her issues…
Like any food for “large breed” dogs, moderation is important though..

Hahaha, now this really made my day, a dog was stranded on mudflats at the Farlington Marshes after running away from its owner!
They could not go and get it due to the nature of the swampy ground, so what to do?
It was 275 metres into the mudflats and impossible to rescue, that is until someone come up with the bright idea of tying a sausage underneath a "drone" on a length of string!
The drone was flown out to the dog and the sausage dangled in front of it, as the drone moved so the dog followed!.....

Happy ending, the owner got her dog back, and they gave the dog the sausage!.....too cool for words eh....

There was a place on magnetic island selling those pool noodles.
It was at the time Townsville was in lockdown.
They were selling them for $7 each as Social Distancing Poles
