Geez I hate people playing "God"......
Albany WA womean with disabled child got sick of caring for her, she approached a local GP and discussed a drug that would kill the child? Hope they both go to jail on an attempted murder charge, what sort of mother would do that, give the child up for adoption to someone who does care, the mother must of been in a terrible state of mind to even contemplate than path, her GP was wrong, he could of helped her to get proper mental health care! https://www.nytimespost.com/albany-w...-six-year-old/ |

SS while I accept and agree with you, living with a child of high demand can really screw your life up. I know from 1st hand experience and I have my wife to share theifestyle with.
Acouple have a child with disabilities, slob of a father can't stand it ( or can't get his jollies so he shoots through, leaving mum in and feeling very guilty.) I fully understand where the poor mum is coming from. Will be interesting to see what relationship the mum and doc may have. He needs to be used as croc bait.

Companies and individuals will always pass the buck, I had a delivery or multiple deliveries at home here, usually car parts, I always ask to sign for it, most couriers say "don't worry about it"
So not always the seller! But you dident get what you paid for, you have a right to complain! |

That's heavy **** killing anybody let alone a disabled kid, but I know their is someone out there who will accept and love this child, good or bad, able or disabled, and yes its a bloody big job, a thankless job, some can't handle it but some can, but the Doctor is a maggot, what was he thinking!.....the Hippocratic Oath forbids him taking that action or even thinking about it, she needs a mental institution and him a long jail term! No matter her family circumstances it was wrong |

FILICIDE,
What is it?...according to my Sunday Times, it is the act of a parent or step-parent/s killing their children It goes on to say that it is more common than what we may think, I never realised it had a name until 5 minutes ago, am reading about a father with visitation rights to his kiddies, aged 6 years and 4 years, a little boy and girl, he killed them! it so saddens me, the poor mother must be in a terrible state, and will be forever more. The gutless father topped himself too, coward, and I also found out that this shocking act of filicide happens in Australia once every 2 weeks Last edited by slowsnake; 06-02-2022 at 01:51 PM. So after emails going forward and back i got a resolve on the laptop. Yesterday at about 9am, I got a call from a lady from harveys, she was a bit hessitant. I get it, it was a call she didnt want to make, probably thinking i was going to be an angry customer. Nah, i killed her with politeness. So i agreed yeah, i wasnt home for the delivery, but explained there was no note and the vague text message i got. So she got it re sent. I thanked her for her time and effort. 2 hours later it arrived.
Anyhow, the hard drive dock thing worked. Kind of surprised about that, but i recovered what i wanted pretty easily. The laptop itself, it is better then an old one. But my minor gripe is why was there no tracking details or an email to say it got returned to store? Had i known that i would have just gone and picked it up last monday. |

Before I go further here, I want to say that I appreciate and understand the strain on the delivery industry at the moment.
On January 12th I ordered an expensive set of dog hair clippers from an online retailer. (Cocker Spaniels have much thicker fur that require a more powerful machine than most dogs, hence the expense). On January 14th it was picked up from the Sydney retailer, with an estimated delivery date of January 19th. On January 20th it arrived at the Bendigo depot, 2 hours from where I live. There it sat till 8th of February. Late on Sunday, February 6th, I emailed both the retailer and the delivery company. The retailer replied first thing on Monday advising they had requested an urgent delivery. The delivery company emailed me today to say it was out for delivery today, February 8th. When it arrived today, it was clear the box had sat in a dusty warehouse for the last 4 weeks. Basically, the Bendigo branch of Aramex just did not want to bother making the trip, as in not bother to do their job. The delivery was actually re-contracted out to another company entirely, what should have been done in the first place if Aramex did not have enough motivation to do their job. Again, I understand the troubles with getting drivers and the huge increase in online ordering and delivering. But this was just a case of laziness. For anyone who needs something delivered, NEVER use Fastway/Aramex.

It's a bugger. Same thing happened to me about 12 months ago, near new tyre.
Thought I'd try using those plugs that you push in, worked a treat. Been on a couple of country runs also, good as gold, lost no air and tyre is good.

I hate so called spiritual advisors, be they Catholic, Protestant or whatever, who take money from gangsters, bikers, corrupt business men and politicians too.
Yesterday in Perth was the funeral for shamed Catholic Priest and thief Father Joe Walsh, aka, Father Armani! Of course it was attended by most of Perths underbelly including Troy Mercanti and John Kizon, this article goes on to say what a great bloke he was, and I hate that, how come when you die you suddenly become a " good bloke ".....he was a high living big spending blight on normal civilised human beings! They say that " you find devils in high places, and angels on rubbish dumps " That rings true in this case. Big surprise coming to you Joe Walsh, you have no idea what's coming your way!...... |

Last time i picked up a screw, dunno if this is true or not, the tyre shop said they cant plug tyres anymore. They took the tyre off the rim and patched it internally. Whatever, it worked. However you can still buy plug kits from supercheap/repco wherever. Picked one up a couple months ago for my brother who had a nail in the rear tyre of his motorcycle. It has held up fine. He is due a new rear tyre now, so it has lasted surprisingly as sports bike tyres are different to car tyres. |

Got to agree, plugs are fine if used under normal circumstances, I fixed 3 punctures for my pensioner neighbours, Pat with her Hyundai Accent was quoted $40?
I said i would do it for just a "thank you" took 30 mins, only because I took the wheel off, I can't work lying down, have to push downward due to my spinal issues, anyway she spent the money she saved on a plug kit and a cheap air compressor!..win, win all round. |

My brother was kinda lucky. I noticed the nail in the bike tyre giving him a hand lubing the chain. The thing still held air. But, he's an idiot. Atleast he had dirty fingers running over the spot, but pulled the nail subsequently deflating the tyre, against my recomendation of taking it to get a new tyre asap as bikes dont have spare tyres...
Plug kit worked, i already have an 18v tyre inflator. The plug kit came with something like 12 of the goo stick things, 5 internal patches, glue for said patches, tools and was in a plastic case, not just a pack where you end up misplacing stuff so next time you screw yourself. Plus it was $29 from ripco. Supercrap wanted $39 for a pack with the 2 tools and 5 goo stick things. No case. The hardest part is getting the goo stick in the needle tool thing. Reaming the hole with the reamer thing is easy and shoving the plug in is also easy. |

**** is getting hot in Canberra right now. I'm all for protest and fully agree against mandates but these guys are all over the shop and have no clue what they are doing.
They have more factions than the politicians but causing enough trouble. Now they are invading the Lifeline Bookfair charity event setup next door. As old Jim Richards said 'You're a pack of arseholes!" |

First time I ever saw him fix a tubeless puncture, couldn't believe my eyes, realising they had no tubes like a push bike, or motorbike, or dads old bomb, and I remember him fixing a torn tyre that was dumped at one of the servo's, near brand new, he brought it home and had a vulcanising patch, I watched intently as he did it and let me light the match, wow, the things you learn as a kid, and outside I saw him put molten rubber and smooth it out with a flame heated soldering iron, then you use the tube, every tube on his tyres were black with pink patches!...... |

Another Russian female tests positive for a banned substance!.sans Anna Kournikova, apparently a heart or pulmonary stimulator, a drug that increases oxygen in the blood, why do they have to cheat, winning is winning, and cheating is cheating, not fair to the honest athletes who do the hard yards in training, she was a figure skater in a team event, they won Gold medal, but as of yet its not been presented!
And geez I hate that! |

Geez I hate all this tension between Russia and NATO, it's a progression of China wanting to control the South China Sea?
Of course Russia needs access to the Black Sea which it already has, other countries do too, but like China, Russia needs more I was told by a good source over 50 years ago that in the future the world as we know it (70's) will be consumed by a mild form of Communism, and that Brazil and Australia would be the safest countries to be living in! Source not relevant! |

Currently have a gardening customer of mine texting me about advice for her lawn. Once text, fine. Seven though is stretching my patience on a Sunday evening.

Have been watching intently the Russians putting their "war ready" troops on their border with the Ukraine
Imagine what it would be like sitting typing on a forum like we do then getting hit bu rockets and bombs etc, so very sad, and Putin is a maggot, straight out of a blowflies a.se, this can't be good for humanity as a whole, and thevWest is going to standby and do nothing, sanctions don't work in a thriving black market, would not be surprised if China tries to pull something outta the hat whilst NATO is busy in the Black Sea, not the South China Sea The West had better start getting real to these threats, or we will be using Yen not AU$ here! |

Just keep in mind that the U.S. has 11 working mobile airforces, supported by numerous marine mobile forces and several large military bases dotted around the place.
