G'day i recently picked up Fonzie Festiva for $100 and then spent another $700 getting her roadworthy...

*inner rack end
*polish headlights
*4x new tyres
*4x new struts
*degrease
*parker bulb
*brake light

Even with everything new underneath including brakes and bushes this isn't a patch on my missus 2012 model KIA Rio , considering these were build on the same platform as the Rio/Swift and Barina back in 1998 lol

Thank goodness for technology

After removing the seats to replace the carpet i noticed it had a 6stack CD player as well
Plan is to wrap it in purple vinyl to match my falcon and then keep it for a few years as the motor and box are quite sound, i have a turbo on the shelf and a nitrous kit that people are in my ear about constantly...

Let's see if i give into temptation and try and get Fonzie into the 14's eh ?

Not new to AFF but new to this section.
All my cars have been V8's til now. Recently picked up an 07 XR4 / ST150 in need of some TLC. Its my new daily and will end up as my daughters car later on.
Its has a little front damage - broken bumper mounts, bent compressor mounts and a missing mag centre to start with. I've emailed a bunch of ford wreckers but come up empty handed so far. Anyone know where I can find parts for this car?
I'm pretty happy with the performance and handling of the car and it is still standard. I've had a few big block powered cars before and plenty of hotties so never thought I'd enjoy driving a bubble car but am getting quite attached to it. The plan is to get it up to scratch and maybe show it and do some Hill climbs and track days locally as well as teach my daughter to drive in it and look after it.
Cheers

What I like about it: Time speeds up when you drive it.
What I don't like about it: Time drags when you aren't.
How I combat this: I drive 4 times as much as I used to pre ST.

Hi People.

I brought a Fiesta ST about 1 month ago just after they were released.
I also own a 2012 Focus, non turbo.
I have owned about 20 cars since I started driving, the last Ford I owned was 1978 XC falcon ute with the GS options back in 1983.

Cheers, Sekred.

G'day all,

Phil, somewhere on the ACT border with a brand new Fiesta 1.0 Sport picked up today...
I had a Falcon EL and a Falcon AU before it, but this is so much more fun to drive!!!

First stage is getting some Opticoat put on and inside the car (will happen in 4 weeks time ...) then step by step ... who knows ??? Stripes, partial vinyl wrap, ECU... It will be my first project car, love all that mid-life fun.

It's great to have the financial power to do what you want instead of just dreaming about like when I was 17 he he he
