My neighbours a die hard HSV man, hes always got 2 of them in the shed, one for him and one for SWMBO, his being a 317 GTS. Neways I sent him a pic of this lemon a few weeks ago before it was released and for a guy that lives and breaths HSV, hes over them!

This is just a testiment to me that HSV may have infact stuffed up, even tho most of you guys here think their demography is aimed at boganised Australian's who'd buy anything with a lion on it, I dont agree. I think from what I have seen with my neighbour, and the responses on LS1 that there will be some cheap E2 floating around sometime next year due to lack of demand...

I dont mind the Maloo in white or silver so those horrible LED lights dont stand out like dogs balls, but im not a big fan of the sedans.. HSV have just tried too hard with this car, and failed big time.

The Elantra just needs a bit of an angle on the bottom edge instead of being flat.

Still finding it hard to adjust my eye to the E2. The front apron, just sticks out way too much. Makes it look like it has a fat lip. Dunno, again I'll have to wait to see it in the flesh.

i actually don't mind the front at all.. the rear is not good at all... but the more i see the front.. the more i like it... and the Senator front just does not look right... the fronts of these cars are aggressive... and the Senator front just doesn't match.. it's like the top half is luxury.. bottom half is sports... and that grill is just TOO big.. a small child could hide in there..

Well.....I saw the R8 , GTS and Senator in the Flesh yeterday at Philip Island ( V8 SUPERCAR ROUND )

They are horrible...........even the HSV faithful were pulling their out at the display. The R8 actually had the blacked out bonnet lips wheras the GTS had them in chrome. The GTS wheels were also not very nice to look at. It almost looks like the whole kit was designed for the yank market as part of the export program that got canned.....?????......too many kits made and too costly to scrap them so they ended up on our local cars.

Sorry.......but the GTS looks like Elton John on his way to the mardi gras.

I know why it looks crap. It's missing a rally car style roof vent. Putting one on will surely fix it.

Wondering if anyone here is also member at LS1 - If you can Quote/post some of the comments +/- just curious what they think and also this will tell stories from both side.

My perception from previous posts is that they arent to happy either ...still curious

Also wondering what others think regarding HSV goin down same path as Ford did with AU Design. Will they recover ?

One thing this tells me is that I won't be seeing many HSV wanabe VR/VS VT/VX and VY commies with this Kit
