I'm talking about ordering one and then waiting 2 months for one to be built. The T&C suggests that its dealer stock.

I think you will find no one these days are ordering and waiting for stock to be built. Who'd pay over $40k when there's new stock everywhere on the floor for crazy cheap prices?

I count exactly 100 brand new XR6s on car sales starting at $30k DRIVEAWAY, these are the bargain of the year IMO.
http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...&sortby=~Price

Now you've got me looking at car sales... New XR6 Turbos start at $37.5 driveaway. This is crazy.

I'm saying if you were to. The 33k deals are dealer stock were the dealer is paid by ford to sell them.

Yes, but not how much one cost in 2012...

Theres been very little discussion about the NEW Falcon for the last 10 pages, or pictures for that matter.

Keeping with the TOPIC there is a BASE model... It will have 16 inch wheels and most likely continue as the XT...... Theres no POINT in them changing product structure now, they will run with it till the end.

Some will be disaspointed but some customers REQUIRE this spec of vehicle. Namely Police and some large fleet operators.

Rental companies buy what ever is cheap at that time.

This car is like buying a Series 2 with a new front, new boot, front parking sensors and auto wipers. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yes the whole range will get front sensors.

Not auto wipers though.

Until BFII a series II update never had serious styling changes... Ford obviously decided to do that as a new strategy, but in my opinion it backfired. This is a new model and is worthy of the 'new' tag as much as XM, XF or EF etc.... The only thing it does not compare to is the AU to BA change, but that was almost all new.

Callum, seriously, stop the crap. I understand you're loving the product, but you constantly push everyone's buttons and it does you no favours. Learn to get along or just hang out with Zuckerberg. Don't even reply to this, just tone it down and move forward.

Excuse me? I am sick and tired of people judging me too much and bagging me out.

They seem to think they 'know it all' when on many occasions I have proved them wrong, I was proving a point, he thought I was 'wrong' so I proved him right. No harm in that.

That's a bit rich, all he has done is suggest that a badge could be dropped from the line up (a very real possibility), and the only "proof" otherwise is a photo of a development mule (there is no FH/FX production etc) that is being evaluated, its not sign off time yet and ford could still tinker with the line up and offer the XR6 as a pov spec falcon, or even ecoboost only as the XT.

Too carry on like you are the Jesus of the 2014 falcon and act like everything you post/believe as 100% truth is only going to put you on the nose on people...As said before, there have been discussions, information and the like all happening before you came here waving your banner, and there are people on this very site that are held in higher esteem and based on there knowledge of the 2014 falcon...

Could a moderator open a post titled " Facts I know about the New Falcon " and allow anyone 'in the know' or those purporting to know secrets etc to publicly post what they know as of today. Let them declare all their knowledge and when the new Falcon is revealed we will know who is/were talking rubbish. Don't allow comments, just a record of an individuals willingness to stand by what they say on this forum. put up or shut up.
Come Oct/Nov when the car is released we will know who is fill of ss hh ii tt.

All you have done is upset people around here. You act as though you are the only authority on the new Falcon..... Seriously your starting to sounds more and more like some school kid that has nothing better to do.

Callum I know you are well intentioned.

Please detail the occasions you have proven someone wrong with information you have provided first hand. You are judging everyone else as knowing less than you do when 9 times out of 10 their opinion holds just as much factual weight. May work on Facebook, unlikely to fly here. I am still trying to figure out what we wouldn't have known if you hadn't joined the thread. Treat members like adults if you expect to be treated as one. Not rocket science.

Can we get on with the thread instead of distracting it?

What about AUII? I think that had some serious styling changes over the AUI.

Yeah I agree, I reckon the styling changes of the AU series were the biggest one, AUIII looks quite a decent amount more different to the AUI.
