This is my kind of thread. I have a little over 3500 Hot Wheels. Here in the States they are 96 cents apiece, during Christmas some places had them for 49 cents. My new favorite is the 72 Gran Torino in Green or Red. I also love the 73 Falcon XB in yellow and Blue. I have alot of Red Line Hot Wheels from the early 70's. I will try and post some pics later.

would like to see your 70's red lines, i was given lot them as a child. the red baron, beatnik bandit, whip creamer, paddy wagon and others. i remember having a ute that had a launch ramp on the back that had a plane attached that would take off as the car would scream down the orange plastic track.

As soon as I figure out the picture thing I will post some. I guess that I could post some in the gallery for now. I don't know what shipping would cost but I would be willing to buy cars over here that you guys are looking for at regular price then ship them over to you. I don't like the guys who inflate the prices of the cars that you can get off of the shelf. I have never shipped anything overseas but it can't be to hard. IntechAU that Ute is the Aero Launcher Fleetside and will probably cost you a couple of hundred dollars to get now. I have a friend who runs a toy business up the street from me and he has quite a few Red lines as well as late 70's and early 80's blackwall cars. I can get a list of what he has and post it here if anyone would be interested?

I scored a red Garage XB for $3.90 of eBay with $6 postage from the States. It turned up the same day this one did.

I only collect treasure hunts for 18 months, the research I found once the car is out of its original packing its no longer collectible, packaging they want it in mint condition.

Ha Ha someone noticed. I collect redlines and this is my most desired car. Because I can't affort $72,000 which it sold for I had to settle for a replica. There are two real ones that exist which were originally owned by Mattel employee's.

Hot Wheels are my passion. The book that I have said that there was only one in existance. That is a cool car to have even as a replica. Spoolman most of my Hot wheels are still in their packaging. These are a few that I have on display. I generally don't spend much time looking for Treasure Hunts because I don't go the extra mile to fight the people that are trying to make money off of them. They can be some ruthless people at times.

That life size loop is cool, would have been good if they had a simulated car going around it.

Re my above comment,
I received a pic from my mate and the XB turns out to be a Real Rider with big wheels and redlines with rubber tyres,It has some sort of black stripe on the bonnet which comes over the front guards by a small margin. This is all I could tell from the 1 pic. These would be sold here by Toys are Us and the like for about $7 or $8 or $25 or more on fleabay. So Keep looking.

I have been collect cars since I was about 1yo. I am now 20 and no longer collect them, But I have passed my cars on to my brother who is currently 10. He has been adding to the collection for years.
On Monday he laid out his current car collect.

778 cars pictured which is a massive range of Sedans, wagons, coupes, supercars, 4x4's, utes, trucks, buses.
I am sure there were many missing that we no longer have. Probably would be close to 1000 if we still had them all.
Still a decent size collection.
