Anyone for a cheap landau? its in nz but could probably get landed in oz by the time convert dollar allow 3k for shipping approx $20k AUD
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-265509195.htm looks to be in pretty good original condition, rust free has all trim etc central otago car (very dry climate - good for vehicle preservation) 2hr drive from me - if I had the coin i would snap it up....

This ad looks a bit odd or is it genuine?
Buy it now for 10.000 and only contact by an msn e-mail address! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1974-Ford-Fal...item2eab23c0b8 Wayne |

Does look a bit strange, doesn't it. No rego number, no VIN, and the guts of the ad looks like it was cut & pasted. And the "Buy It Now" is not an ebay button, but more like "email me with $10,000 and you can have it".
I'd stay clear of it.

Well spotted. I emailed the seller, and the story goes,.......
Blah blah, no scrathches, no damage, I have all the papers & documents, also i am the first owner. The price is 10,000 AU including shipping to your address (only in Australia). The car is registered in Australia on my name and address but currently i am located in London UK because i finished the divorce with my husband and i have moved here to my parents home. The payment will be made through ebay and only after you will recieve the car, i will recieve the payment. If you are interested in buying it please provide me your full name and address so i can initiate the deal through ebay. I will wait your answer (if you are interested to buy) very soon. ....So, sounds pretty dodgy eh! I emailed back, "Can i veiw the car in the next couple of days". We will see what sort of response comes back if any. Cheers Rob. PS; I just went to veiw the listing again and it has been removed. |

Thought this might be of interest to someone here, seeing your $ is worth more than ours
Seems to be complete and in working order. Note: I haven't seen or inspected it http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-276887062.htm

If that one only got to $11k and didn't sell, then this one won't be of interest to you guys over there.
