Welcome aboard! Is there any chance the colour is hinted at in your username?

EDIT: Well that answers my question!

HOwdy all!.. I'm Sundeep 25yrs from Sydney.. I'm new to the forum and I've posted some pics of my two Fords in the associated threads in the Show&Shine section.. but here they are again - 3/69 XT Falcon GT and 4/70 XW Fairmont GS..

this is my favourite pic of the two ol' girls as it was taken on the day that the we bought the GT to join the stable..

The XW has been in the family for 25 years.. and the XT since 2004..

As most of you here I got corrupted from a young age... blue blood since day dot.. some pics of me as a bub with some of the ol' mans previous Falcons..

catch yas on the forum and the road!!

Default Sadly obsessed with XR2's

Hey All,

Well not sure where to start so I will try to make it short, my name is Jzajza and I have an unhealthy obsession with the XR2 Capri. I have just purchased my 7th in about 15 years. I have been lucky and never had any problems with any of them.

I did own a Clubsprint once but my love for the Xr2 was too great.

So anyway I just got another XR2 and plan on restoring it with a new paint job and general tidy up. Apart from the windscreen she is completely original.

She is really good condition and mechanically a1.

Fell free to say hi and tell me how sad I am for being obsessed with them :o)

Default Hey all

Hi all

My name is Pinch and I am from 'The Shire' in Sydney.

Whilst I have owned a lot of steers in my short time, I gotta real soft spot for the Blue Oval.

I currently have a BA XR6 daily driver, but last week, for reasons still to become clear, I bought a NC2 Fairlane Ghia Sportsman.

I started checking out this (cool) site just checkin stuff about the Sportsman. Well done to all involved in the site.

The BA is pretty stock apart from upper and lower Precious Silver grills, Ghia interior lighting (thanks to the Premium audio loom) and a cold air intake.

The Sportsman was picked up last week for 2.5 large, and I am impressed, drives like new!

It has the 161kw Tickford motor and it must have Tickford suspension (and no SLS) cause something that big just SHOULDN'T handle and steer that well!!! All straight and clean and everything works except the horn and ciggie lighter (so I will trawl through the tech threads for clues). Having trouble finding the right tow bar too, wreckers keep giving me wrong wagon ones or something (anyone have any pics?) It has a LTD grille and emblem and only 202K. Not sure what I want to do with it (apart from tow a little boat when the missus has the XR) but I saw it and had to buy it, with the axing of the 'lane and that - I was pretty sad. Never actually had a LWB before, so I thought now or never.

Anyways, that's me and the steers. Love the site and keep up the good work.

Default G'day everyone !!!!

G'day all !

I have long had a hankering for an XC Ute with the quad headlight grille ! And a GS bonnet and a 351 and..... etc.

I have nefarious plans, but need to get first things first and find a decent, straight Ute !

My first car was dad's XB Ute which I loved ! Built like a tank, a big 6 that would go forever. Then not long after I got my licence he went and bloody sold it and bought me a Datto 180B. B for bastard !

These days i drive a Land Rover Defender 110 Ute and the wife drives our Classic Range Rover. (Yes, this is why I am poor).

I'm hoping this forum will lead me eventually to owning that dream car....

Cheers lads and ladettes,

Vlad.

Hey all, I haven't got any photo's yet because i haven't picked it up yet, on with the story. I just bought a brand new XR6 Ripcurl ute. I'm sure you know all the details, i'm waiting for the dealer to find one from another dealership, but have already paid for it. Will be either Seduce (red), Lightning Strike (silver) or white. They said they cant order it anymore, so they had to find it at another dealer, but they assured me it worn't be a demo with heaps of k's.

So yeah, gonna go have a read around and hope to see you on the roads soon.

cheers,
Aaron

New xr6 should be here on Friday, SHOULD!...lol
Ripcurl edition, Seduce (red) 5sp manual too. Barstards lost the waterproof seat covers, but thru in a sports bar at half price. Can't Wait!!! Only problem...Insurance, found a good quote, but a 20 yo male in a new ute...no one likes that idea.
