Service NSW are a customer portal for at least some of the toll tag operators, allowing people to pay paper notices, and perform assisted transactions (meaning, things which many might do online but a person is unable or unprepared to do this way themselves). So they will happily accept a tag from an authorised party.
Given the shades of fruitloopery this has been generating, 100% it is tempting to hand it in at a police station, but that’s also - to me - kind of dishonest when I know where it should go. I’m wary of returning it to the provider via post as it carries equal risk (IMO) of accusations that it wasn’t received, wasn’t sent, etc. As I said; they’re not presently a balanced person. |

So my RA is really playing up ATM, but thankfully had an
appointment with my specialist on Monday. She decided to change my Biologic DMARDs to a different type/brand? Gave me a box of injectors to get me through until I'm approved, thankfully all my wives lectures about the correct procedures etc (40+ years in ICUs) had sunk in doing all the checks and stuff me 3 months out-of-date. Returned this am and no more available until manufacture can provide so more "samples". Luckily I still have a pen of my last Dmard to get me through. F**k I hate this disease. Whinge over, feel much better!!! Terry aka Tbro |

This could go in any number of threads, but I posted it here because most people seem to know the tune I'm whistling and it's catching!
They played this on the local radio this morning. Has become today's earworm.

The annual insurance premium for my povo spec Ranger going up by $252 compared to last year. I suspect last year's flooding is to blame despite my home being far enough away from said flood waters.

Got bit by a spider this afternoon.
Didnt see what type though. Went to grab some wood out the pile and it got me on middle finger, really hurt (still does 7 hours later!), I shook my hand and it was flung into the bark on the ground. I heard it land but couldnt find it. |

See if there's anymore in there to give you an idea of what it might have been. If you end up in ED, they'd like to know.

I had a good look around but found nothing.
We see a lot of whitetails and redbacks at home so Im thinking one of those 2. Finger is still swollen and itchy, skin is tight but pain is way better. And yes, will be using gloves from now on. Little bastard....I wasnt trying to hurt you, why you hurt me?! |

Aching? Sounds like a grumpy redback.
I’d been thinking wolf spider. |

Pain was intense for first few hours, but now mellowed and yeah aching is a fair description. Sore around the joints, bending the finger is uncomfortable but doable. I'm thinking redback too. I was sittimg outside reading a car mag in front of the fire when this all happened. Once I had an icepack on it, I went back to my magazine and weirdly the next feature car article was titled Redback! The universe letting me know perhaps. |

AMMI, for that reason, I will NOT be purchasing insurance from your company.................you were WAY out of the ballpark anyway. If there is anyone reading from a company that likes to do this sort of thing, pestering potential customers with a constant stream of emails and text messages is not a very clever marketing strategy, in fact I would wager you will lose more than you win by doing this.

I went around to fix some doors at mums house. She had already bought the hardware even though I said we should go down and check it out first. I always bring the existing thing with me.
First stumbling block was the cordless drill (cheapy Ozito) no matter how much torque I had on it just couldn't shift these screws that were stopping the garage door from closing. So I ended up hacksawing them but still needed to bang them in a bit. The T handle she bought was the wrong one so we went down to Bunnings to exchange it and then that was all good. Next issue was the collar on the lever arm. It was detached and I thought this isn't right surely it should be welded to the arm how do you secure properly. I ****ed around a bit and got it to work just so it would be secure. Got home and looked it up on Bunnings as it wasn't right with me and of course it should be welded She got the wrong handle and defective rear lever arm. Lucky the inside door was easy as, just replaced the handles and left everything else |

Somewhere along the line, I've upset the bird gods. Not sure exactly what I did to deserve this:
And it's not like the car is parked right next to a tree! Even the driveway was peppered (altho it may be hard to see in this pic) .

I stopped it by rolling a sock over the mirror every time I got home. Eventually he migrated to the neighbours car mirror and I could stop bothering with the sock. |

Have tree creepers, Larks and lately Superb Wrens having a go at the Westcoasters. Covering over with an old T shirt does the trick.

Could be, but I haven't seen many larks around the area at all. The magpies are out in force atm tho, maybe it's them?

My Neighbour two doors down likes to practice his whip cracking skills.............at 9pm on a Sunday evening. Why anyone would need a whip in a suburban area is beyond me, or why it's necessary to use one after dark in the middle of the street. Complete moron.

I’ve got neighbouring kids who kick the footy against a Colorbond fence, and CUBs down the street who - until the interest rates went up - thought it a jolly good show to drive down the road at 11PM with their Lambo turning 5000RPM and exhaust cutouts open. Someone cracking a whip might be a pleasant change.

All those noises pale into insignificance when the mini earthquake rolls past at 5.15 every evening on its way to $ydney fully loaded with containers.
