No. You can't run old school colours through paint shop. It would have to go through the whole testing purpose again.

They could use colours they have used before though.

Providing they used the same paint codes, like they did with Octane.

Just an observation.
Comparing the number of pages / views of this thread compared to any on the new Mustang. Is there any significance in this?

I would have guessed that the Falcon would have blitzed the Mustang thread.

For one, we all know what the Mustang looks like, have a fairly rough idea of price, know it won't be here for quite a while and all the related specs.

The Falcon is the last of the Falcons! Would say 98% can relate to the Falcon more and have more chance of owning one.

Also ..... and probably the main factors ....... we are all discussing what it will look like and specs associated with it.

Bit of a given really .....

I've driven about 1000kms in them over the past few days.

They should have been unveiled by now but marketing wanted to keep them covered for a bit longer. I'm assuming because of GTF?

Mandarin was available on BA,BA2 and there was one BF FPV painted in Mandarin. Was a great colour when new but has aged terribly with fading and poor colour matches on plastics.

If the new Xr8 looks as good as that black one ,I think I will be waiting more than 3 months I waited for my BA Xr8 when ordered,as they can only build 7 or 8 engines a day

Obviously you cannot say what your feedback on the cars was like but maybe you can give an insight on what you were evaluating, things being assessed etc...something like the test rather then the results if you know what I mean, lol.

I can give an example, at the time I owned a BA wagon and was shown the new Terry well before it's release and mentioned I thought the BA had better NVH then the Terry. I'm no expert but the feedback matched up with other non-company testers and was part of a effort to just increase the work in this area before the next round of evaluation vehicles were built.
