I believe we can expect the new falcon to look pretty similar to this! As far as styling goes..Thinking about the bonnet - like the VF. Then the sharper style headlights as depicted by most other impressions and the sneak peek.

The bonnet on the new Falcon wont end at the upper grill like on the territory. It will look more like the new Mondeo with the front bar wrapping around the upper grill to meet the bonnet.

I know that full well (seeing as I saved them off ford.com.au) but I think the territory seems to similar styling to the Mondeo and other American fords.

Those headlights always looked disappointingly like the Hongda accord euro. Hope the last falcon doesn't look like this.

Someone over on Whirlpool spotted what they thought was a new Falcon, but looks to be a new Mondeo.

I cannot see any logo anywhere and the wheels are not clear.

Ok taken in Campbellfield but it could be any car.

How so? If it's a new as yet unreleased car/car update, well covered up, how on earth should it be easily identified?

You said it is a Ford (still haven't proven it) based on it's "styling" (that is also masked heavily in camouflage).

So, how many medium -> large sedans in the Ford range are there?

I'm not here to argue or go back and forth about something as pointless as this. I think it looks like a Ford. I don't know what model. That's it from me.

It's definitely not the new Mondeo just by judging at the side mirror. They should be attached on the door skin not the side window

I would suggest that if its within the ford family, it may indeed be the Lincoln MKZ

This rear end photo suggests that it could be mondeo, just with dodgy taillights.

We might get one with the mirror attached to the window.



The Fact that its LHD suggests that its a Ford as they're not gonna test a camouflaged LHD competitors car. As its a new model and how are Ford getting their hands on it. So to me its 1 of 2 things:

1. Overseas Ford getting used for data collection (like a Mondeo because it will be sold here).
2. A south east asia car that is getting tested.

The door skins swear Mondeo, but the fuel filler and wing mirrors are positioned differently. Among few other differences as well.

Have a look at the plastic in the glass house and look at the Lincolns, no doubt in my mind what it is. New MKZ

I'm not sure mate, you can see that the side glass to the rear is covererd but can see the outline, which looks like that Mondeo above. The MKZ ends were the plastic on the camo model starts, but then there wouldnt be the outline.

Edit: And the rear diffuser/ garnish bit at the bottom is kind of a mix of both cars, so really hard to say for sure

There is also an indent in the boot lid more like the mondeo. Also the number plate is in the spot were it would be with a mondeo.

Also look at the petrol cap, the black pillar and door handles it looks exactly like the new Mondeo. The lights look a bit puffed up like they have different lights over the actual light below it. These lights could even be the new falcon lights they remind me of an FG.

It is not the new gen Mondeo/Fusion, and obviously it is not a Falcon.
