Hi All!
Just discovered this forum and enjoy reading through the threads. Most of my cars in the past were Fords - starting from Fiesta, through Focus, Territory and now Kuga. Kris |

Maybe no one talks to newbies? I was hoping for some advice over a week ago, but all is quiet. Maybe I should look on a different posting to ask for advice? |

Try your question here... https://www.fordforums.com.au/forumdisplay.php?f=243 Just keep in mind that the above area is reasonably quiet compared to other areas so it may take some time for your question to be answered. |

Hi, I purchased a 2011 Territory AWD 2.7 Diesel V6, in December 2017 100.006k. I traded a Nissan 1999 Patrol 4.5 LPG and Petrol engine . I have a tandem wheel pop top caravan and the Territory and the pulling power and economy kills the Nissan. I am so happy with the smooth quiet and a great easy to drive Territory despite all the negative comments from people who have never been close to the car in any way. I did get the 3 yr. extended warranty on it hoping to cover any major problems. Essendon Honda supplier, did state the rear bushes had been renewed. Its amazing how many Territories are on the road and the Police have used them for many years. Just Saying!!! Enjoy.

G'day thanks for adding me..
I have a 2005 XR6 ute. It would not start. RAC man tells me it's ants in the fuse box. After cleaning battery terminals and fusebox it still won't start and now it looks like the Smartsheild has engaged. Any ideas on how to get my ute going would be much appreciated. Thank you |

Hello, my ford territory turbo geha is showing fault lights on the dash for ABS & Dynamic Traction Control. Where should I look before replacing the whole unit?

Ford Fairlane Ghia AU V8

Hello all, I hail from the very expensive & very policed Cairns Qld, born & bred. I own a 2000 Ford Fairlane Ghia AU V8 & finding replacement parts is as much of a challenge as finding a reliable & good mechanic.
Yes! The availability of Auto parts, Performance Parts, Car Clubs & Auto Sports is very limited up here at the end of the line. Thank the stars for Air travel, the internet & Australia Post. I love my car it is a sweet ride for a tank, but due to the availability of replacement parts, I am seriously considering swapping it for a Ford Focus XR5 Turbo. I joined the forum to access the collective knowledge of Australia's Ford owners & hopefully find the parts for the Fairlane. I would like to know which of the AU models have interchangeable parts with the AU Fairlane. I would love to throw some XR8 Parts in to it, more for reliability over performance, as I realise the Fairlane is built for comfort over performance. |
