Just like they made the GTF owners wait for the reveal of the GTF?
If they reveal the car 25th of July it gives people time to have a look at it and say "i want it", and by the time it is december Ford's sales will look even better because everyone gets one on the same day. So on paper it would look better

hmm, i'll have to see it to believe if it does get revealed next week either way i can't wait...even though i'm planning to go for a 2016 model (one of the last 'ever') but im tossing up between an xr6 turbo or the xr8, if demand is high i might have to put my order in a year or so early 'maybe'...im leaning slightly towards the xr8 at the moment possibly due to the sound it should make but the xr6t is still descent performance for the money but without the sound stock...and if the xr8 will use the same drivetrain as the current gt, it will be actually smoother/easier to drive than the xr6t from what i've gathered between driving my fg xr6t and my dad's 335 (both manual)

Talking about Spyman, where is he? Haven't seen him around for a while, has Ford got him locked in a backroom at Geelong somewhere?

Id say so. Things were getting pretty heated between him and Ford last time he was on here. I hope he is okay?

I have a sneaking suspicion that he works for Ford and is now busy taking Official promo shots

i personally think it sucks that the XR8 is coming back. I'd finally got the cars i wanted and could focus on other more important things in life and now i have to buy another one and go broke again.
