Yep...GT wheels...lets hope they are place holders. Could be an indicator that the XR8 gets R-spec boots...

Hate to say it, but the Toyota Avalon and now Camry taxis were/are much more durable than the Falcons ever were. You'd have to go back to the AU2/3 model to find a hardy Falcon without the "costly" common issues the BA-onwards face.

Is this the link? I hate the stupid article because it belittles the falcon as "front and rear sheetmetal changes to a basic bodyshell design that dates back to the 1998 AU Falcon." Stupid misinformed pr**k needs to go back to kindergarden |

Side repeater is clear but not led. The drl lights up completely and dims as a park lamp. Yes this car has 275 rubber and r spec suspension .

So tell me how many Commodore wagon’s has Holden sold compared to Territorys and then tell me who invested rightly between the two manufactures.
Segment blah what a joke.. the Ford wagon was simply discontinued because the Territory took it’s place and had sales covered plus some, at the end of the day Ford seen which direction the market was heading in and lead the charge. |

It looks to me like the XR8 will compete with the SSV Redline. I wonder if there will even be a no leather version of it?

You might know more about this then me but I don't get the whole short supply thing, the only problem with motors would be it a local supplier shuts early and with the zf's don't they just have to preorder the amount they estimate they'll sell, will there also be a limited supply of xr6t since they run a Hi torque zf not the same as the v8 but still beefed up?

The problem with the motors as I understand it is they are physically limited by production speed. These suckers are hand built not the crate rubbish the other mob use.

So there would still be as many as gt/gs per year, limited numbers but not really rare either.

Well lets say there are 45 production weeks in the year.
Lets assume the 3 per day is accurate. That's 675 engines per year. November 2014 to say November 2016 is exactly 2 years. That's 1350 V8's in total if all my assumptions stack up.

You blokes will hate this, but the scoop (at the windscreen) reminds me of the VT commodore HDT Brock edition.

I think they have already started building and stock piling Miami's, from what I remember there was a picture of the factory floor with sealed engines everywhere. Though I'm sure a lot of them were for the GT-F (correct me if I'm wrong)

If I need a wagon but not a 4wd, why would I buy a Terri? If I need a 4wd, if I can afford it, I look beyond Terri for something that is actually capable offroad. I have no need for a faux-wheel drive. |

Lucas I think most of those stockpiled were for the GTF, 500 in 4 months is quite a furious pace for the v8's I believe. I could be wrong though! It would seem like maybe 2500 would be the max they can build based on dragons90's info.
