Whenever my EL gets into donuts/figure 8's (also in a factory) its vibrated. When I did it with my 17's on (they were just about had it) it didnt do it?
Mayebe just the tyres skipping or something small like that?

hi Mr. Dose could it be a simple problem like dodgy wearing tires or something. Are your engine mounts in good condition ? tailshaft unis, gearbox crossmember etc.. Doughies put a lot of strain on your car and can't be healthy for your LSD. The vibrating thing sounds driveline related for sure.

It would be a good way of promoting the club, make sure you have heaps of signage on your car though or get the announcers to plug E-Series,just make sure you put on a good show though or you might get stabbed.

For those who havn't been it's a really good setup, only $5 to spectate and $15 to go nuts on the skidpan untill you either pop your tyres or blow your radiator, $25 for two goes. They also do change over stockies and tyres for $25 for rims and tyres, pretty good value.

When are you planning on going Mr. Dose ?

Hmmmm I'm leaning towards it being the tyres skipping around once it's at full lock or something, so it just slides and vibrates... so maybe back it off a tad from full lock next time I give it a whiz and see if that works.

is it as rough as axle tramp? might be slight axle tramp or something similar with the tyres skipping, might be the surface aswell, is it concrete ur using or asphalt or what?

my suggestion is chuck some almost bald narrow **** stockies on and use the same surface and seee how u go

pfft, can anyone here say they have never felt the urge to rip a few doughnuts? im sure everyone has at some stage done doughnuts! for some people (like me) they might even take it as a challenge. for example seeing how long you can keep a constant large diametre circle.

BTW, not sure about the problems with the ghia though.

and casper. just my opinion!

Which end of the car is the vibrating coming from Sunny?

From what you describe it sounds like you're saying its the front?

Hey it sounds alot like the tyres are skipping. I had this problem on one of my old dirtbikes, As soon as I dumped the clutch the thing just started vibrating like crazy, had no idea what it was until I looked at the backwheel and it was jumping about an inch off the ground. Goes away as you give it some more throttle and the tyre gets warmer though. Also being live axle the rears would have a tendency to skip wouldnt they?

I'm not going to clean it, I'm either going to let it live or simply close it.

The decision will be made based on the posts ofter this one.

Answer the original question and it lives, keep going with abuse, personal attacks or the likes and the axe falls. I think thats fair.

Are you running standard springs in there mate? Soft springs could cause tyres to bounce around...
