try comparing prices between the different ford dealerships for the same job, say the 100,000km service. you will be totally shocked.

just remember, the service intervals on the corolla are 10k and not 15k like on the falcon... so if you average it out... it would mean the corolla would cost more in the long run, and yes, our corolla just passed 120k and it costs a fortune to service later on in its life.....
My Pajero Diesel just had its second service (30k)... quotes ranged from 550 to 1000..... so dont feel too bad about it |

a gear lever failure like you described, it was replaced free of charge... Wifey has owned a black RAV4 CV for close on 18 months now, only 12,000 Kms on it. Takes it in for the six monthly service to wipe the spiders off the dipstick.... The big difference between Ford and Toyota dealerships is how they treat their potential buyers - especially the women. When purchasing a small SUV, I let my wife do the research and leg work with all the dealerships. We crunched the numbers and how the sales people treated her when she visited them. Judging by our experience, Ford must be losing hundreds of sales daily.... Last edited by jpd80; 23-05-2010 at 08:34 AM. |

Try $665 for Focus (petrol, auto) 45,000KM service. Got back from overseas and saw the invoice. Made phone call to delaer (Sydney, south of city) and wating for a call back. I have 4 fords and it is unlikely that they will get any of these vehicles in for a service in the future or any sales of new vehicles for that matter.
