Pleasure Mate

Though I will invest in some decent cutting compound from the Doc over the next few days, my brother used all the good stuff and didnt replace it.

Was it rubbed back Kev or just a quick cut?
I suspect you could knock off the top 1 or 2 clearcoats because it was only painted recently so should still have plenty left in it.

Quick cut Scott.... We were conservative due to not knowing our limitations.

Fair enough, you could possibly give it a careful rub with 1200 W&D & it would most likely remove most of the damage.
Happy to do it for you but since you live on the opposite end of the world it'd be a long way to travel.......

Looking closely at the pics, it doesn't appear to have actually broken the paint, so it's only affected the clear coat, also there appears to be some bleed through from a previous repair so I'd estimate (from the images) it should be totally removable.
If you want to bring it over any time, either PM me or give me a quick call & it might cost you a burger or 2. _2:

Cheers Tony, nar I think it's recoverable. I'll hook up with Scott (The DOK) as he suggested. Box of KK's and a burger, and we'll be coasting... :

Wasnt that game, but a paint shop should be able to do it while he has a beer with them I dare say

I was a spraypainter by trade, once I've had an up close & personal look at the damage I'll quickly ascertain whether it'll rub out, it looks as though it should going by the pics but I can sure understand your reluctance to probe too deep, it's a very unforgiving colour.

Let's hope the Karmic Bus runs over the pricks Louise!!! And then backs over them for good measure!!!

Honestly what is the world coming too when some degenerate damages another persons pride and joy???
As an ex panel beater theres nothing worse, in my opinion, than having to do a quote on a car that has been maliciously damaged by someone else. It breaks the heart to stand and listen to the owners emotion as he or she speaks about finding the damage. Call me a SNAG if you like (most call me a caring understanding nurturing type lol) but I've been around cars long enough now to realise that we bond with them to the extent that we treat them like children and love them just as much sometimes.
Hopefully giving it a rub with 1500w&d will bring it back flat again ORSMT and it will buff out nicely.
Best of luck. Glenn.
