3.9 EA Falcon - 4 speed auto - 3:23 - 16" 225's, 2000rpm @ 100ks but bounces from 1500 to 2000rpm randomly :S (stupid auto)

So glad i found this post I just put a sports cluster in and thought i may have bought a v8 one I thought the revs seemed low but i'm in the ball park with everyone else EBII 4.0 auto 1700 at 100km

a lot of these figures are far from accurate.
a car with T5 and 3.45 diff will be pulling about 2100rpm, not 2000rpm as people are claiming.

and an EL auto pulling 1400rpm @ 100? thats wrong unless its got a 2.7 diff from an EA :P

a 4 speed and 3.08 diff will sit on about 1700rpm
a 4 speed and 3.45 diff will sit on about 2050rpm

a 5 speed will sit about 50-100rpm higher then the auto unless fitted with a T5z

anyone getting other then this might wanna check their speedo.
especially if they're on stock rims :o

i know my car with 4 speed and 3.45 gears sits on 2050 and my speedo is 1% off (adjusted cop cluster)

T5 ratio's in EA's were different to EB,ED T5's or so the max elleries falcon guide says so that could be why?

The ratio in th SPrint T5 was different again.
Also the Diff is a 3.27..
From FPV.
BTR T50D - 5 speed manual, heavy duty gear shafts on tapered roller bearings, Valeo clutch.
Ratios: 1st 3.35:1- 2nd 1.99:1 - 3rd 1.33:1 - 4th 1.00:1 - 5th 0.72:1
Reverse 3.15:1
BTR95LE 4-speed automatic, Sprint calibrations, T-Bar shift.
Ratios 1st 2.39:1 - 2nd 1.45:1 - 3rd 1.00:1 - 4th - 0.68:1
Reverse 2.09:1 - Rear axle
Rear axle: 3.27:1 (man), 3.45:1. (auto), limited slip differential.
