I like mercury silver......as for 4 speed autos.....don’t think so. But in saying that have had many falcons in the 90’s and early 2000’s with the btr box and they were reliable

My opinion.
I own a BA GT in Mercurary silver also with a 4 speed, Only has a bonnet decal. My car is stock and I have destroyed the transmission 2 times, it has been rebuilt twice. Second time it was modded to make it better and also a trans cooler installed. The BA does feel old compared to my VE wagon, the 6 speed in my wagon is way in front of my GT. But in Saying that my GT feels so much newer than my VH Sle. I get why people say it is old, new GT’s and new cars do feel newer, but for a 15 year old car my GT still is a good car to drive. |

The tall 1st gear in the BA makes for rad burnouts but that's the only upside to it as far as I'm concerned.

Im not interested in burnouts, i have been doing that for 30 years. I once did a burn out in a 5.0 Monaro and the tyre somehow came of the rim and flew higher than 30 meters. My tyres are worth 300 each and i want to conserve them. But going WOT at 70 kph still gets me 500ml sideways.
