nice work, i got 7 adults into a suzuki hatch (the 2 cylinder version) was a little cramped, not to mention a little sluggish on the performance stakes

Heading towards Lithgow on the Castlereigh Highway and there's the highway patrol sitting at roadworks pinging speeders through the work site when they pulled over the VERY low sitting old Volvo wagon in front of me at the mobile traffic lights that were set up. Imagine my surprise and mirth as asian student types began piling out of it and kept piling out. Final count was 9 I think, not bad considering the back of the wagon was chockas with luggage.

Another time back when I was younger and sillier, was out bushbashing with some mates at about 3am one morning and came round a bend in the track just in time to see the dust settling around a horrible yellow Sigma parked on top of a tree it had knocked out of the ground. It was beached on the trunk, engine-gearbox-diff, all 4 wheels off the ground. We pulled up and fell about laughing as 7 bodies climbed out with the young owner of the said smegma getting out of the BACK SEAT saying "my mum is going to kill me" hahahaha.

After watching and laughing at them for 5 minutes trying to get the car off the tree we offered to help and the young owner made the mistake of giving the keys to my mate while I directed them to rock the car on the passenger side to get traction. My mate proceeds row the auto shifter back and forth through the gears and park for maybe 10-15 seconds with his foot flat to the floor ( I've never before or since heard an auto box clang and grind gears like that one did on did that night), before finding reverse and getting off the tree. He then, with it still flat to the floor goes from reverse to first and dissapears up the track sideway in a cloud of dust and for the next 4-5 minutes all we can hear is this poor smegma screaming it's t!ts off and headights flashing the tops of the trees as he's doing doughnuts and the like up the track. He finally comes back round the bend, still flat strap, and in one motion puts it in park-pulls on the hand brake-switches off the car-pulls the keys and opens the door to step out, all before the car has slowed down let alone stopped, and as soon as it slid to a stop and ceased motion right in front of me and the poor kid who own it, my mate hopped out and handed him the keys saying " thanks for the drive" and we piled back into my car and were gone all before the dust settled leaving the young'uns' standing there gob smacked and scratching their heads. I laughed so hard that night my ribs hurt for 2 days.

Many moons ago on one nice spring Sunday arvo was travelling back up the F6 from the 'gong. Mates and I admiring a nice VK that we were overtaking. The lone guy was looking dead straight, looked to be really concentrating. Checked out the car as we passed and thought nothing of it until he flew past us a few k's later. Female passenger now clearly visible, he gave us the thumbs up.

Very late one night recently I saw a little Honda Prelude tootling by underneath the shadow of a very thick king-size mattress. It was hilarious.

Haha gotta love the 'not so shy ex' that every bloke has had. I had an ex a few years back...and god, some of the stuff she did would be worthy of this thread, but they definatly aren't for a public forum.

Mmm, what stuff have I seen in the north...Oh there is this bloke who rides around on some old pushy, 3 jesus statues cable tied to the handlebars, an old FM radio strapped to the top tube, and he rides around everywhere on the back wheel...Just wheelies everywhere.
Seeing people singing while driving is always funny!!

big roundabout in jesmond[newcastle]i was in the left lane to go thru and an elderly lady is in the right lane, she proceeds to the right[with indicator on] to go head on with the traffic going thru on the other side.
everybody stops, lucky without incident, for a moment its like a mexican standoff, she then does a u turn in the roundabout and heads of in the direction that the traffic was going on the other side.

4 lane rural highway 2lanes either direction with grass in the middle - car going the WRONG direction and speeding heading toward oncoming traffic at night, the carnage that resulted from this was quite insane!

car sideways in a ditch resting on its side doors with only wheels visible of the car (deep ditch) with some occupants not fully dressed in the area.....

lol reminds me something i saw.. Was waiting at a meet point for a cruise up at eagle on the hill (mountain pass kinda road) early in the morning with no traffic and saw a minivan coming up the hill completely oblivious that it was on the wrong side of the road, the lanes were seperated by a decent median strip and the car made no attempt to get into the left lane when going past u-turn spots

after which she reversed but mounted the island between kfc drive thew. (beeched)

30 seconds later a kia driver wants to go threw the maccas drive threw and proceeded to lean on his horn,
because he could't get past the L plater...unbeleiveable..

While driving in Ghana, after having negotiated what seemed like 200 km of traffic jam, came to the cause. An old Hi-ace was getting a full engine and gearbox on the highway. There were parts everywhere on the bitumen and looked like he had been at it for days. I guess the highway was a nice flat surface to work on.

Some really great stories here guys, keep it up.

A couple of years ago, I was sitting at the lights off the Ballarat Rd exit from the Western Ring Road, in afternoon peak hour. There are cars everywhere, when all of a sudden an Ambulance comes out of nowhere, sirens and lights blaring trying to turn onto the onramp to get onto the Ring road, everybody gets out of it's way except for one brown Mazda, which stops, causing the Ambulance to stop about 2 meters behind it, the ambulance is just about to try and go around it, when the Mazda proceeds to select reverse, and reverse - at speed - into the front of the Ambulance. The Mazda then proceeds to do a U-Turn, and speed off in the opposite direction, while the Ambulance proceeded onto the freeway.

Call me nuts but I think it is silly to be wearing a set of headphones that will drown out everything around you when driving.

A while back on a wet day, VX Commodore ahead all of a sudden does a 360 turn at around 80kmh, bouncing off the concrete barrier, somehow ends up with the car going in the right direction and continues driving on for about 100m with a bent axle before coming to a stop. No idea what happened and the bloke must have had a heart attack.

It just fitted in between the 2 cars except his mirrors hit the other cars mirrors and bent them back one driver stood there abusing him while he was filling up the guy in the suzuki took his shirt off then filled up the other guy abused him the whole time . I couldnt stop laughing

A while ago heading along Donnybrook Road, we were travelling behind a 4x4 with polished checkerplate tray etc.. and hanging from the towbar what appeared to be a set of crown jewels. Gave the 4 of us in the car a good laugh out to Geelong.

I've seen him also. Apparently walks from Cleveland to Roma Street everyday and then catches the train home. I know someone who sees him most days.

Takes all day I hear.

Oh, you just reminded me of something similar, There used to be an old lady that was often seen walking along the Bacchus Marsh - Geelong Rd with one of those trolleys the old girls take to the markets.

She was seen by quite a few people I know, some say near Geelong, and others say nearer too Bacchus Marsh, (it's about 60km from Geelong to Bacchus Marsh with absolutely nothing in between). I myself saw her 2 or 3 times, at one time it was not long after I got my Ls, and I was driving my mum's Swift, and she actually stood right out in front of me, I actually had to swerve to miss her.
