well not a great deal was done today unforutnetly, i was called into work the previous day for a service call and what was goin to take a few hours became a hole day...but second i got home i had lunch and stuck into it again, passanger rear guard is prity much done now, we just have to fill one more spot and rub it back to smooth, did really get a great deal done

tomorrow heading down the the paint shop to see how much it will cost to add flakes to ethir the clear or paint, i recon white with silver flakes will look great, see it done on other cars with different combos of colours and turns up nice, hopefully works for me ;) lol

going to buy a new bumper aswell, looked at mine today and its not worth tryin to fix, the support holding it on is really shonky and im no in the mood for 2nd hand fix'ems, if im gonna do it right im gonna do it right the first time

thought id keep yas updated

for sure, white with silver flakes will look mint...

just as a suggestion.....i know ya love your black C pillars, but when you're painting, paint up a couple of other c pillar trims and put them away...
you never know when you'll get over the black ones and you'll be kicking yaself you didnt do it as it'd be hard to match up the paint/flake combo

little bit of work done today, really today i was parts hunting, decided that the front drivers side door was going to be difficult to paint as it was sprayed a previous colour from a previous car it was on, turfed, and the drivers side front guard was another colour and was chipping hard, we found rust too :S not good, turfed that too, went and got a new door off snypereb today to find wayne workin on his car, whos car is it anywayz? new front bar aswell, the other one is stuffed really, we could fix but im gettin kinda sik of crap parts on the car, also bought some ef-el mirrors from jolly rogers and pulled up an old bonnet laying around the house here, prity much every thing is rubbed and ready to spray just gotta hit 400 on the last bit i did to get the clear off and paint up the parts i got, as there all not the same colour, so still plenty of sanding to go, least i can say if the car dosent look good when its done, its streight ;)

no pictures ill post up some tomorow because there isnt much point

thinkin about it, but money become tight after the last purchase

were gettin close to paint now, iv been at it all day and will be after i stop posting, got a few more little tiny bits to throw some bog ova and rub then we should be right to paint i think

dose anyone have a good condition front bumper they wanna sell, something with less dings or chunks taken out of it as possible, sick of bogging so is the old man, at this rate, with curing and all i dont think the car will be finished by this weekend

i decided to take more time and really prep it good, im sick of half *** jobs that i do lol....

update on paint colour, decided that we wont be going with flakes but white with a blue pearl, reason being wit the flakes you just wouldnt even notice it, from a distance or upclose cause there almost the same colour, i was prity bumped but i wasnt goin to bother paintin it another colour for flakes, so pearl will do

also i made a purchase sunday but ill inform you all in due time ;)
