We talked to the engineers and testers, who explained that they've done load-towing comparisons of the Eco vs I6 and there is NOTHING that the Eco can't do the same or better than the I6.

Not sure how to get the word out there - but the mentality that a 4cyl Falcon is a waste of time - is simply un-grounded and un-educated. If you're looking at a large sedan in the future - then go and test drive one.
I coudn't have put it better myself.

Actually, the guy driving the R-Spec was Irish. Had a good chat to him about how to get such a job...he was the only one who gave any such advice. He talked to us the whole time he was driving, including the high speed sideways stuff. He claims he was at about "8.5 10ths".

Anyway... I'm pretty sure the R-Spec down the straight of the handling circuit was the fastest I went, followed by the ST then the GT on the constant speed track.

I checked if we were speed limited during our drives and was told no so gave a proper test to everything I got into and came out thoroughly impressed with them all. Suprisingly, the fiesta in pounding rain was the most enjoyable. Probably a combination of being manual and me not holding back nearly as much with it.

Overall, an excellent day! I need to get writing a thank you letter...

Drive a new Ford Ranger everyday at work.

I really like them.

Glad to hear the day was good.

I'm assuming you were there on the second day... Who are you again? I struggle with names and faces.

It's a real pleasure to read how much you all enjoyed your time at the PG this week. On behalf of everyone at Ford, we all really enjoyed it as well. It was a lot of fun for all of us to spend time with some of our most passionate supporters. The weather wasn't kind to us on the second day but I don't think that dampened anyone's spirits, even if they did get physically drenched ;-)

For those looking for photos, we do have some on our Facebook page and those that attended can also access a website where they can download all the photos that were taken on that day. You can share them with anyone you like so feel free to post them here if you like.

Cheers!
