You're right. I should have remembered, because I've looked on the Mrs Fiesta a couple of times to see if the car's ready to rock and thought "WTF?"

I suppose you only find out it's overheating when some warning symbol comes up.

Should be alright though, when I was driving my WS Fiesta during the end of 2010 in summer, those 30 degree+ days I had it idling in the car park for an hour with the aircon on with no overheating issues.

Technical Contributor: For members who share their technical expertise. - Issue reason: Ford couldn't fix my BlueTooth issue. This member posted a download link, with instruction, on how to do it myself. One week on, the unit hasn't played up once. Three different dealers told me to virtually 'Live with it.

Should be fine.

Yea In Focus a warning light comes up apparently. I suppose you could tell by the revs dropping below 1000rpm maybe?

Cant say 100% because I only got my car today, that said it was 34 degrees here today and about 1000% humidity and the air con was Ice cold ... to the point where it was uncomfortable to have it on full cold.

Can now say 100 % no problems, picked my daughter up from school last Friday in 36 degrees of heat left car idling with air con on for over half an hour. Had the wifes chocolate birthday cake on the back seat, didnt melt even a drop of the icing. Stayed very pleasantly cool inside , I was very impressed.
